We found out a bit more about Camy and what influences her breathtaking designs…

Hi Camy. Your website is great fun and your collections breathtaking. So tell us, how did you get into the world of fashion?

My family has dedicated their life to fashion for many years, so as a child I was around creative people all the time. Plus I have always enjoyed dressing up in a unique and fun way, which is why I studied fashion and went on to be a fashion designer.

Describe to us what a Lemonface girl is like.
A Lemonface girl is feminine, bohemian and a bit of a hippy. The women that buy my designs are one of a kind and much like our pieces they are unique and like to stand out.

What inspires your collections?
My mother has always been a big inspiration to me. I also love the beach, just sitting there watching the sea and taking in the colours gives me some great ideas. And of course you only have to look at my designs to see that tribal prints and different cultures around the world have also influenced my work.

Many of our brides get married on the beach, what is your advice when it comes to accessorizing for that perfect boho beach look?
I’m obsessed with plaited hair and flowers. Braids are really on-trend this season, so for a casual laidback bride I would recommend a flower crown and plaited tresses. It’s such a romantic, natural and bohemian look.

What’s your favourite fashion trend for this year?
Impossible to choose just one. At the moment I’m loving patches on denim jackets and tassels on bags, on jackets…everywhere actually!!
