Sarah decided to do what every bride should do when she made the decision to get married in Spain; jet off for the week with her besties to find her perfect wedding venue by the sea in Marbella!
The decision to visit had come about after Sarah and Mike had spent some time speaking to the team at Sunshine Weddings Spain who introduced a number of wedding venues for the bridal couple to choose from. Sarah & Mike had shortlisted 3 beach wedding venues and Sarah had asked her friends to spend a cheeky week away in the sun and accompany her so she could see each venue for herself.
The girls embarked on a fun filled venue tour enjoying the drive along the stunning coastal road through Marbella with the Mediterranean Sea glistening in the background. Now Sarah really could imagine her wedding in Spain and how excited and thrilled her family and guests would be.
Sarah had arrived at her final venue, and interestingly her least favourite out of the ones she had hand picked, however as she walked into the beach wedding venue in Marbella, she was totally blown away by the setting; lush green gardens with amazing views of the sea in the background.
A few days later Sarah met with Scott, senior wedding planner at Sunshine Weddings Spain, to go over all the details of the venues she had seen. Sarah had time to reflect and digest all the information and her heart was definitely still set on the beach venue in Marbella. As Mike had not been with Sarah, Scott made sure he was completely informed about all the details so the couple were able to make the decision together.
Sarah & Mike confirmed their perfect wedding venue in Spain and the wheels were set in motion for a June wedding in 2014.
When Mike flew over a few months before the wedding he couldn’t believe how perfect the venue and setting was for their wedding celebrations. He felt completely relaxed and extremely excited about getting married in Spain.
June arrived and all of Sarah & Mike’s wedding guests flew out to Malaga, Spain and began celebrating with a stag and hen party where the boys and girls went their separate ways before meeting up later on that night at a Club in the port.
The next day guests relaxed and enjoyed a chilled day before Sarah and Mike’s special wedding in Marbella.
Sarah woke on the morning of her wedding feeling excited at the prospect of the day that lay ahead of her and Mike. She began to get ready and Lorraine worked on her hair and make up, transforming Sarah into the stunning bride.
Sarah and her father’arrived and she took her surroundings before embarking on her procession down the carpet. The area was decorated with nautical blue colours to compliment the stunning back drop of the sea styled with vintage flower arrangements which set the scene for her wedding in Marbella.
Sarah and Mike wanted to make sure their wedding was “fun” and their wishes had certainly come true, all their guests had the most amazing day and night celebrating in the warm air by the sea – everyone was in great spirits!!
To complete the celebrations Sarah and Mike had organised a BBQ on the beach the following day for their guests to get together for the final time and re live the events and moments from an amazing wedding week in Marbella!
