As soon as my bridal couple had decided on Mallorca they wanted their guests to experience the island’s finest qualities and incorporate some tradition into their wedding Guests met in the glamorous Port of Puerto Portals where they enjoyed cocktails at a local bar and were presented with individual boarding cards to use on one of three vintage sailing boats that lay waiting outside on the pier.

Once their guests were aboard, the bride and groom joined them on their very own bridal vessel and the three boats set sail for a glorious one-hour sailing trip to El Maggo in Portals Vells, a rustic restaurant and beach bar set in a beautiful cove of crystal clear waters.

Here the bridal party disembarked and were ushered to seats where they watched the ceremony whilst enjoying the cool breeze of the sea and taking in the breathtaking views the bay had to offer.

After the bride and groom had taken their vows, the party tucked into a Spanish feast with a variety of Spanish tapas and the restaurant’s famous Paella, where residents on the island flock to taste the delicious dish.

The party continued with a live band and DJ who played until the early hours of the following morning, when some of the more confident guests decided to take advantage of the setting and take a dip in the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea!!!”
