Valentines Baby Completes Couples Fairytale Wedding In Spain

Church wedding in Malaga Spain

Sunshine Weddings Spain bridal couple, Linda and Morgan, first visited Spain from Ireland, to search for their dream wedding venue in Malaga Spain, during the spring of 2012.  Their trip was not only to find their venue, but their ideal wedding planner in Spain, which began when they met Scott from Sunshine Weddings Spain. Linda & Morgan also met a number of other wedding planners in Spain, however decided that Sunshine Weddings Spain would be the perfect team to take away the stress of organizing their wedding in Spain from Ireland.

Linda and Morgan’s vision was to have a Catholic church wedding ceremony followed by a party in a wedding venue in Spain that offered that wow factor. They had a fun and relaxed day out with Scott in the search for their wedding venue in Spain, and seemed to have found a favourite, which was a Spanish wedding villa in Marbella. They returned to Ireland to consider their options, along with a detailed checklist, which the Sunshine Weddings Spain team had provided to help them keep a track of their planning process budgets and service providers.

Time passed and it seemed that although Linda and Morgan had liked the villa wedding venue in Spain, it didn’t seem to fulfill their vision and so the search continued. Luckily a friend had heard about a new wedding venue in Malaga, a meeting was arranged with the new 5* beach hotel and Linda and Morgan flew over. Upon viewing the new wedding venue in Malaga they instantly fell in love with the setting and booked their special wedding in Spain for Friday 13th September 2013. The church was booked and confirmed located in the Pueblo, a traditional Spanish village set in the mountains just 10 minutes transfer time from the sea.

Whilst Linda and Morgan wanted a fun 3-day wedding in Spain many guests booked for longer which meant that they could experience the true beauty, traditions, culture and history of Malaga and the Pueblo, which provided them with a taste of real Spain.

On the day of Linda and Morgan’s wedding in Spain, guests were collected by coach and walked through the narrow streets to the church, which showed off amazing views over the countryside and down to the sea.

Following the wedding ceremony in Spain guests enjoyed tapas and drinks in a nearby square whilst the bridal couple, groomsmen and bridesmaids visited a nearby fairytale castle. The Sunshine Weddings Spain team had made special arrangements for the bridal party to have a photo shoot outside the castle, which added to this fairytale wedding in Spain.

After the photo shoot they arrived at the surprise beach wedding venue in Spain at the same time as the guests, who had been collected by coach after that had enjoyed their tapas. All guests drank drinks on the lawn over looking the Mediterranean Sea before being invited to the upper terrace to take their seats for dinner and speeches under the stars.
