In 2002 we spent our first holiday together in the beautiful area of La Cala in Mijas, Spain. Since then we have spent many a trip there with friends or on our own and each time has been as fantastic as the first time. Therefore, when deciding on a location for our wedding it only seemed fitting to get married there and share this wonderful place with you all.
We are thrilled that you have decided to look into joining us in Spain for our wedding! We have chosen to have the ceremony and celebration at the beautiful Hacienda San Jose which is only a stone’s throw from La Cala and located around 40 minutes from Malaga Airport. With the promise of an amazing sunset, beautiful surroundings, some Spanish traditions and of course your company, we are sure to have a fantastic time.

We will be arriving in La Cala on Wednesday 2nd July 2014 and we look forward to having you as part of our celebrations throughout. This website will let you know all that we have planned on the run up and after the big day and all other vital information to make your stay as enjoyable and hassle free as possible.

We arrive in sunny Spain where we plan to spend a few chilled out hours acclimatising before heading into La Cala village that evening to start the celebrations with drinks at a local bar.

THE BIG DAY -Formal invitations will follow at a later date providing full details, however to allow you to plan, the wedding will start at 4pm on the Thursday at Hacienda San Jose and will be followed by dinner, drinks and celebrations.
Friday 4th July 2014
Following the celebrations from the day and night before, we will be having a pool party and BBQ throughout the afternoon and into the evening at the Hacienda to soak up the rays and cure the hangovers (or as Becky likes to say ‘top up the levels’!!)…. We would love all of our guests to join us for this, so bring your swimwear and plenty of sun tan lotion!

TRANSFERS
Malaga Transfers have a variety of different sized vehicles and are ideal for larger groups travelling from the airport (up to 19 seaters) We have negotiated discounted prices with them at the following rates from the airport to Mijas Costa:
Standard car ( type Ford Mondeo or similar) ‘with capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases: 53 euros (a normal taxi from the airport would be around €70).
In an executive car ‘(type Mercedes’ E class, Audi A6 or similar) with capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases 64 euros.
In a luxury car type Mercedes S class or similar ‘capacity for 4 people +’ 3 medium suitcases : 76 euros.
