We have compiled some information about our Wedding and Nerja itself that we hope will be helpful to you.
Nerja is a beautiful coastal town in Southern Spain. It is about 45 minutes from Malaga Airport.
Our Wedding Day
Our Wedding will take place in Cortijo Bravo about 25mins outside Nerja. Cortijo Bravo is a small country house located outside Velez. We will be providing transport for all guests to Cortijo Bravo from Nerja on the day of the wedding and returning that night
Please ensure that you are ready and waiting at 14:15 in the Parking Carabeo car park in the centre of Nerja.

There will be return coaches back to Nerja at 02:00 and 03.30 and the hotel will arrange a taxi for anyone wishing to leave earlier.
Accommodation
There are a number of Hotels, Guesthouses, Hostels, Apartments and Villas to rent in and around Nerja. Balcon De Europa is the central point in Nerja so anywhere walking distance from from there is a good location.
Booking.com, Trivago and other hotel websites feature hotels in Nerja and www.rentinnerja.com have listings of apartments and villas to rent.

The night before the Wedding
We are having pre wedding drinks on Thursday the 13th April in Cochrans Bar just off the Balcon de Europa. We’re hoping to kick off around 7.30pm.
The night after the Wedding
We are having drinks and Tapas in Mar Bella on the Saturday night from 7.30pm. Mar Bella is just minutes from the Balcon behind El Salvador Church. We have an area reserved out the back of Mar Bella.
Things to do in Nerja
Beaches
There are a number of fabulous beaches in Nerja including Burriana, Carabeo and Carabeillo. All of these beaches are within walking distance from the Balcon.
Frigiliana
Is a small mountain village about 10 minute drive from Nerja (only a few euro in a taxi) It has beautiful views and restaurants and is lovely for a stroll as it has won many awards for its beauty and conservation.
Nerja Caves
Nerja Caves are 5km from the Balcon. Buses leave Nerja regularly and takes 15 mins.

Malaga Airport is a 40-45 minute drive to Nerja.

Malaga Airport to Nerja
There are a number of car rental facilities at Malaga Airport. You can also organise private transfers the cost of which depends on the numbers of passengers, shuttle buses (please note these should be booked well in advance as only a few seats are available) run from Malaga Airport to Nerja or there is a bus service from Malaga Bus Station to Nerja (Timetables are available online).

We would advise to book appointments well in advance as Easter is a very popular time in Nerja. Again this is only a guide they’re plenty more to choose from online.
Wedding Menu
Cortijo Bravo requires everyone’s meal choice for the reception two months in advance, so we are going to put the menu choice on the invitations and would ask that when you reply to the invite if you could also indicate what you would like on the day.
