GRAINNE & TOM
Sunday, 24th May 2015
Thanks for visiting our wedding website.
As you will all hopefully know by now, we are getting married in Spain which can be a little trickier for guests to travel to than a registry office in London….
So, we have included lots of information below about our big day, as well as other information on accommodation and transport which will hopefully make it easier for you.
Our theme is low key, relaxed and fun and we hope you are able to join us!
Please RSVP to include the following information:
Please RSVP by 20th March’2015 if at all possible.
The Big Day – Sunday 24th May 2015
We have decided to get married at La Almoraima in southern Spain which is a beautiful hotel set in its own nature reserve.
Please have a look at the website www.laalmoraimahotel.com’ and the full address is Finca La Almoraima, Ctra Algeciras-Ronda, 11350 Castellar de la Frontera, Cadiz.
The ceremony is due to start at 14.00 so guests are asked to arrive at 13.30.
Reception, dinner and music will follow at the same venue.
LAST NIGHT OF FREEDOM
For those of you who will be in the area on Saturday 23rd May 2015, we are planning on having a last supper of tapas in the local town at 8pm The price for tapas & drinks will be about 20 Euros per person Please let us know via the above email if you would like to join us.
Gibraltar is the closet airport (30 minute drive to La Almoraima) and is frequented by airlines such as Easyjet (www.easyjet.com) from Gatwick, Monarch (www.monarch.co.uk) from Luton and British Airways (www.ba.com) from Heathrow, ‘although you will have to cross the border into Spain.
Malaga airport is about an hour and a half’s’ drive away from the venue There are several airlines that depart from all UK airports, such as the following:
We would recommend you stay at the lovely 4* Hotel Castellar, which is very close to La Almoraima. ”We have negotiated the following rates there;
10% VAT included
Telephone:’ +34 956 693 018
When you email the Castellar, please state that you are “guests of Grainne & Tom’s wedding on 24th May 2015” to receive those rates.
For alternative accommodation in the area, we suggest you check out the following websites:
Gibraltar – Transfers
If you are flying into Gibraltar the transfer company we would recommend you use would be Calypso Travel.
The smallest minibus they have is a 22 seater and by law there needs to be a minimum of 8 passengers on the minibus so this would only really be ideal if there were a number of you all travelling on the same flight.
A transfer from Gibraltar Airport to the venue would be 100 per mini bus.
Should you wish to book a transfer please contact either Leroy or Tanya on;
Tel: +350 200 76226
Gibraltar – Car Hire
There are many hire car companies that operate from Gibraltar airport and below are links to a couple of sites with various options where you can get a quote;
Malaga – Transfers
Malaga Transfers have a variety of different sized vehicles.
They have quoted us the following prices for transfers from Malaga airport to La Almoraima;
These are all one way prices.
