Hayley and Davids Spanish Wedding

The time has finally come for us to get married!!

If you are reading this then you have been officially invited to our special day and we really hope you can come to Marbella to celebrate with us.

As some of you may or may not know, we will be holidaying as a family in Spain for 2 weeks – so will be staying at the Barcelo Marbella as we’ve been before and it’s child friendly!

Most of you have already arranged to stay here with us, but this website will also contain information on other local hotels should any of you wish to check out other options. We are getting married at El Oceano Beach Hotel and wedding guests can receive a discount should you wish to stay there.

So here’s the plan….

Thursday 25th June

Hopefully everyone will have arrived and settled in by tea time. The plan is for everyone to meet at 7pm (location to be confirmed) and have a drink and some dinner together. This gives everyone a chance to mingle and get the proceedings off to a nice start before the main event!

Friday 26th June

It’s Time!

2.15pm – A coach will arrive at Barcelo Marbella, to take you all to the venue

3.00pm – Arrival drinks at El Oceano Beach Hotel

3.30pm – Here comes the Bride!

4.30pm – Cocktail Hour

5.30pm – Let’s Eat!

7.30pm – Let’s Dance!

There will be live music which finishes at around midnight. The coach will return to get you back to your hotel safely.

Saturday 27th June

Relax!

Lay by the pool and recover from the night before…
For most of you this will be the last day of your trip so chill out and enjoy the sunshine.

We are going to look into options for the Saturday night.
Perhaps a meal in Puerto Banus or a BBQ at the hotel.
As plans get made or adjusted, this website will be updated.

So that’s it, we are so excited – not long now!

A great hotel situated in Guadalmina We are staying here as we said above and a lot of you may have already booked there. ‘They are offering a great deal with 35% discount of the web rates if you book 60 days in advance The website is www.barcelomarbella.com

El Oceano Hotel, 5* La Cala de Mijas

El Oceano is a luxury boutique hotel located directly on the sea front about 10 minutes from the Hacienda San Jose We have arranged a 20% discount off the standard rates for our guests Please note that children under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay at the hotel and they require a minimum 3 nights’ stay These rates are valid until 2nd April 2015.

  • Oceano Studio situated adjacent to the main beachfront building normally 165€ for 140€
  • Double superior non sea view, normally 140€, ‘for 125€
  • Ocean front mini suite, normally 195€, ‘for 175€
  • Deluxe Ocean front mini suite, normally 220€, ‘for 195€

We would recommend a company called Malaga Transfer and have negotiated discounted prices ‘ The price of a normal 4-seater saloon is cheaper than the normal airport taxis You will need to quote Hayley & David’s wedding on 26th June 2015 when you book to receive the discounts and your contact is Anabel and her details are as follows:

The above hire car company is very reliable and reasonably priced Starting with collection from outside Malaga arrivals hall and taken to your car just minutes away and within the airport grounds, this will take away the stress of queuing at car hire counters within the airport and there are no hidden costs like having to pay for a tank of petrol at over-inflated prices Again please mention that you are guests of Hayley & David’s wedding party to receive the best prices.
