22nd May 2015 – BBQ on the beach
We thought we would have a get together on the Friday evening so everyone can say hello to each other before the wedding, so please come and join us at La Familia Beach Club at 7pm. Please have a look at their website for lots of photos and directions and map of how to get there. Hope you can make it!
23rd May 2015 – THE BIG DAY!
After a visit to Mijas in 2014 we fell in love with our wedding venue/villa which is called Hacienda San Jose. It was perfect for what we were looking for and we are so happy with our choice!
We will arrange for guests to be collected from La Cala at 13:30 and taken to a tapas bar in Mijas’Pueblo where you can all enjoy a drink before the ceremony. Paul will then walk you all to beautiful church in Mijas’Pueblo where we will exchange our vows and tie the know! The ceremony starts promptly at 16:00 so if any of you are making your own way there, please make sure you arrive in plenty of time, Helen doesn’t intend on being late!
After the ceremony you will be transported back to the Hacienda where we will eat, drink and dance the night away!!

El Oceano is a luxury boutique hotel located directly on the sea front about 10 minutes from the Hacienda San Jose. We have arranged a 20% discount off the standard rates for our guests. Please note that children under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay at the hotel and they require a minimum 3 nights’ stay.

TRANSFERS
We would recommend a company called Malaga Transfer and have negotiated discounted prices to Mijas Costa as follows:
- Standard car ( type Ford Mondeo or similar) with capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases: 53 euros, which is cheaper than a normal taxi from the airport which is around €70.
- In an executive car (type Mercedes E class, Audi A6 or similar) with capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases 64 euros.
- In a luxury car type Mercedes S class or similar capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases : 76 euros.
- In a people carrier up to 7 people: 75 euros. Microbus up to 12 people: 100 euros.
- Microbus up to 19 people: 120 euros.
- All these prices are per way. Toll road not included. Baby /child/ booster seats: 5 euros
