Hi guys and girls,
As you all know we are getting married in Marbella wahhhheey!!!
Seeing as we are are making you trek half way across Europe we thought we’d make it easier and give you some helpful info to get you there…
Hen and Stag do
For all you party animals who are in Marbs over the weekend we will be having our hen and stag do’s and you’re all welcome to come along for the good times. The hen will be on the Saturday 27th and the stag Sunday 28th. That’s all we can tell you about that at the moment as it’s out of our hands worryingly!
The Big Day
Then to the wedding day itself Tuesday 30th May, the ceremony will start at ‘4pm giving us enough time for plenty of pre-drinks for Dutch courage.
We will be getting married in the ‘Ermita del Santo Cristo de la Vera Cruz’ Church situated in the heart of the old town.
If guests would like to make their own way to the church for around 3.30pm in anticipation for the arrival of the bride at 4pm.
You’ll soon discover finding your way around the old town is easier said than done so we’ve attached some directions to help.
If you head in from Calle Huerta Chica on the main road (near the Barclays bank) you should make it to the church without getting lost.
Once the soppy bit is over we’ll all take a short walk down to the reception venue together taking in the sights of the old town along the way. Then all you need to worry about is filling your belly’s and dancing the night away.
The Day after the Night Before
For all you hard core drinkers the party continues. We would love it if you could all meet us for a few late afternoon drinks to say thank you for coming and goodbye before we jet off as newlyweds…no pressure though as we imagine there will be a lot of sore heads.

We would recommend a company called Malaga Transfer. ‘Please be sure to speak to the manager Anabel and quote our wedding party name ‘Joe & Jodie’ to negotiate discounted prices. ‘Below are the prices for 2016, these could possibly go up slightly in 2017:-
– Standard car (type Ford Mondeo or similar) with capacity for 4 people + 3 medium suitcases: 69 euros
– In a people carrier up to 7 people: 100 euros
– Microbus up to 12 people: 116 euros
– Microbus up to 19 people: 139 euros
(Standard, Executive and Deluxe car can allocate maximum 3 medium cases)
