Hello,
As you will probably know by now Gareth and I have decided to get married in Spain a place that is home from home for me but is also where we got engaged and so has become a special place for both of us.
Hopefully this website will give you a few more details about the wedding and help you plan your trip to Spain as there is nothing more than we would love to celebrate our special day with you. We are getting married at the beautiful Hacienda San Jose in La Cala de Mijas at 4pm on the 31st May 2016.
We will be staying at the hacienda from the 30th May until the 2nd June. For those of you who like a plan here are some details of how it will all work!
Monday 30th May – We will arrive at the Hacienda and just plan to chill pre wedding. If any of you not staying at the Hacienda want to call in for a drink and to say hello please do you would be more than welcome 😉
Tuesday 31st May – The BIG day. Ceremony will start at 4pm, please arrive from 3:30pm onwards.
Wednesday 1st June – To make the most of our fabulous guests and you all being around for a few days we would love it if you would all come to a post wedding BBQ/pool party at the Hacienda. We will need to pre book this so please let us know if you are able to come, there will be a cost of 20 euros per person. Of course it’s not compulsory but we thought it might be a nice idea.
Thursday 2nd June – Celebrations over and we have to leave the Hacienda.
Below is more information regarding flights, places to stay, transport and a few other things you may need to know.
We would also like to know everyone’s 3 most favourite songs before the wedding. If you could all text us or email us your 3 favourite songs (that perhaps you would be likely to dance to at a wedding!) we would be grateful. Let us know by 30th November 2015.

The closest areas to the Hacienda are Fuengirola, La Cala and Mijas Costa. Mijas Pueblo is about a 30min drive away.
TRANSPORT
Please note that we will organise a shuttle to pick up guests staying in the immediate surrounding area to take them to the Hacienda on the wedding day, and that taxis are easy to order to take you home again at the end of the evening from the Hacienda. More information to come on this before the wedding!

We would recommend a company called Malaga Transfer and have negotiated discounted prices to Mijas Costa as follows:
