Hola family and friends
If you are reading this you know that you have been invited to join us in celebrating our special wedding ceremony in Spain.
We will be staying at the Hacienda San Jose where we invite you to join us for the ceremony. The Hacienda is located in La Cala De Mijas in the Costa Del Sol region of Spain which is located about 25 minutes from Malaga airport.
We are aware that people will be planning to travel on different days and staying for either a long weekend or enjoying a week holiday. We will be arriving into the resort on Wednesday 4th May 2016 until Sunday 8th May 2016.
Our plans are as follows:
Thursday 5th May 2016
Pre wedding paella party at a local restaurant. This is an optional evening where we will enjoy a get together the night before the wedding. The cost will be around 20 euros per person and we will need confirmation of specific numbers nearer the time.
Friday 6th May 2016 – THE WEDDING DAY!
The ceremony will commence at the Hacienda at 2.30pm so please arrive by 2.00pm. Celebrations will continue until late into the night.
Saturday 7th May 2016
Post wedding pool party back at the Hacienda. This is again optional and the cost will be a maximum of 20 Euros per person for BBQ food and the drinks will be provided by us.

ACCOMMODATION
El Oceano Hotel, 5* La Cala de Mijas
El Oceano is a luxury boutique hotel located directly on the sea front about 10 minutes from the Hacienda San Jose. We have arranged a 20% discount off the standard rates for our guests. Please note that children under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay at the hotel and they require a minimum 3 nights’ stay.

The above rates are valid until 3rd January 2016.
In order to proceed with the booking they require one night’s deposit per room payable by credit card (16 digit visa or mastercard number & expiry date). Gran VIK Hotel 4* – La Cala de Mijas
This front line beach hotel is ideal for families and located within walking distance to all the amenities in the quaint Spanish seaside town. It is about 10 minutes from the Hacienda. Please note that they require a minimum 5 nights stay in August.
You cannot book at this hotel yet as they have not published their rates for 2016. We will update this when we receive rates but in the meantime you may like to look at the website.

Calamijas Hotel – 4* La Cala de Mijas
A lovely 4* spa hotel, easy walking distance to all bars and restaurants and the beaches of La Cala. Rates are per room per night and include breakfast and taxes. There is also free parking.
Again they have not published rates for 2016 but you may like to look at the website.

TRANSFERS
We would recommend a company called Malaga Transfer whose prices are much cheaper than a normal airport taxi and have negotiated discounted prices to Mijas Costa as follows:
