We’re delighted that you’ve taken the time to look at our wedding page and hopefully this means that you can make it to our wedding in Spain!
Why Spain, we hear you ask? ‘We have chosen to have our wedding in Spain because we both have grown to love Spain and consider it to be our home away from home and we want to share this with you on our special day.
We will be arriving in Spain around 7 days before the wedding, and you are all welcome to join us at any time during our stay You being there is what means the most to us. However, if you still wish to give us a gift then a donation towards our honeymoon would be well received.
Below is some information that you will hopefully find useful and we will be updating the webpage regularly with information on accommodation and flights.
Day 1 Getting settled and socialising – Friday 6th‘September

Day 2 The Big Day -‘Saturday 7th‘September
LA ALMORAIMA HOTEL
Welcome drinks in the courtyard at 5pm, followed by the ceremony at 6pm.
LA ALMORAIMA HOTEL
A 14,000-hectare inland hunting estate, creaking with the weight of history. ‘It was built in 1603 by the Duke of Medinacelli, who was one of Spain’s grandest noblemen. ”Almoraima later became a monastery.
In addition to this, a unique range of activities throughout the year can be enjoyed:
- Visits to the works of the farm: Traditional cork, agricultural livestock operations
- Hunting
- Visits to the bellowing of the stag
- Mycology
- Birds and wildlife watching
- Visits to caves with prehistoric art
- Horse riding
- Network of cycling and hiking trails
LOCATION
It is only a 15 minutes’ drive inland from Sotogrande, being on the edge of the stunning Alcornocales Natural Park and close to atmospheric old town of Castellar de la Frontera.
Day 3 Recovery day – Sunday 8th September
We are planning on hosting a pool party serving up food produced locally and obviously a few drinks.
FLIGHTS
The local airports are Malaga (approximately 90 minutes car journey from the hotel) and Gibraltar (approximately 30 minutes car journey from the hotel). ”Monarch operate into Gibraltar from Manchester and Easyjet operate from Gatwick and Liverpool All the major lowcost airlines operate into Malaga Please see the links below for availability and prices:

Please contact Lily and Paul directly to book rooms at La Almoraima. ‘For the minimum three nights, the rate for the room is €210 plus 10% VAT and for any extra night the rate is €70 per room per night including breakfast, again VAT is extra at 10%.
