As Shane always says “it’s a marathon, not a sprint”!!!
We can’t wait to celebrate with our family and friends on Wednesday 12th July 2017! Exciting times ahead! As you all probobly know by now we’re heading to Marbella for the celebrations.

Estrella Del Mar Beach Club (Approx. 8km from Marbella Town Centre)
Estrella Del Mar Beach Club is located in one of the nicest areas of Spain and the Costa del Sol. It is part of the Estrella Del Mar Hotel (Vincci Hotels) which is one of the best hotels in Marbella. It is located on the very edge of what is considered the best beach in the area. This is known as Playa Real de Zaragoza and better known as Golden Beach. ‘

Taxi:
A taxi to Marbella centre will cost approximately €80 one way.
Bus:
You can get a bus from the arrivals terminal in Malaga to Marbella bus station. This is €6 one way. It is then possible to get a taxi from the bus station to Marbella centre which will be approximately €10. The bus will take up to one hour and we advise you to check bus times to co-ordinate with your flight arrival time.

There is a great restaurant on the sea front in Marbella called La Red and is very popular with pre and post wedding parties They have recently opened a bright, modern hostal in the Old Town of Marbella called – Hostal Tak This establishment is one of the most complete accommodation options in Marbella, given its strategic location and comfortable rooms offers.
The Hostal Tak has 7 bright and comfortable rooms with single beds, double beds and a suite for up to four people. It also has a large terrace with a chill out area with wonderful views. Stay at Hostal Tak and feel at home.

Activities in Marbella
We plan to be in Marbella from 5th – 19th‘July and would love to meet up with you outside of the wedding events but also want you to make the most of your holiday! Feel free to explore Marbella and its surroundings, below are some suggestions of things to do.
Marbella town‘- the old town itself is very scenic. It is lovely to wander the narrow streets of the old town, browse the shops and maybe have a drink or ten!!! You could even have a bite to eat or some tapas. The oldest building in Marbella is now a lovely restaurant called The Farm (http://www.thefarm-marbella.com/).
Day trips to Gibraltar – many companies provide day trips to Gibraltar. Don’t forget your passport!
Beaches‘- Marbella is well known for its’ beautiful beaches. Don’t forget the factor 50!!
The promenade
Marbella has a fab promenade which stretches along the beach. There are loads of restaurants and pubs to choose from.
Nightlife!
Marbella is famous world-wide for its buzzing nightlife and classy watering holes. This exclusive holiday resort has no shortage of super cool bars, fine restaurants and legendary night clubs that attract visitors and celebrities year after year.
There is a great clubbing scene with top DJs. If this what you are looking for, the Sintillate nights at Tibu and Pangea in Puerto Banus are a must and Aqwamist, just a short walk out of the port is also a great choice!
Fellas beware! Entrance to clubs is often free for girls but not but the lads
Puerto Banus is a definite must for at least one night to see how the other half live!! Mind your step when walking along the street as you might get hit by a Ferrari, Porsche or Lamborghini! It’s well worth a walk along the port to see the yachts and their occupants!

Aqualand is an amazing waterpark in Torremolinos. We went there last August and had a ball! There’s loads of different slides for kids of all ages. A great day out! We’ll be going back for sure in July!
