If you are reading this, it means you are special, very special to us.
It’s taken a while and there have been a few adventures,’kids’and countries’to navigate but we have finally settled on a’wedding date and we are super excited!
A sunny, September Saturday in Spain is where it will all go down (30th’September 30th‘2017 in Mijas) We wanted our special day to be longer so we are shooting for a special weekend to bring our family, our friends from our roots, and, also those special people we have had the pleasure of meeting along the journey’to get together and have a weekend of fun'(and sangria).
This’website’aims to detail’everything that will be going on’over the 3 days’we will be celebrating. We have also provided some’accommodation’recommendations in the nearest town of La Cala Mijas, transport and flight info.

Our special’day and’a post wedding day’BBQ will be at the’Hacienda San Jose‘where we invite you to join our ceremony. ‘The Hacienda is located’in the hills, overlooking the town of’La Cala De Mijas, in’the costa Del Sol region of Spain which is about’a 25 minute’drive from Malaga airport.

Friday September 29th
Drinks and canapes will be served at 3 Sabores, La Cala from 8pm for those of you are in town’on the Friday A casual way to get to know each of our families and friends, children are welcome. ‘Remember,’let’s’not get our silly heads on and go too wild as you’ll need to save your energy for the big day ‘The address of 3 Sabores La Cala is:’Calle Estepona, 47, 29649 Mijas, Málaga, Spain
Saturday September 30th
The Ceremony will begin at 4pm and we’d ask you to arrive’for about 3:30pm so we are all seated.
Cocktails and canapes will be served while pictures are being taken. ‘You are welcome to look around the grounds and the magnificent hacienda, or go get a balloon animal from Pom Pom!
Dinner will be served at 6pm, Spanish buffet style. We’ll have food covered for all palates. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know. Sit down, relax, watch the sunset to the sounds of Spanish strings and flamenco dancers.
We have the great ‘Cool Fire Band’ performing on the lower court yard after dinner and then DJ Fuller will carry us through til the early hours of the morning.
Sunday October 1st
We will be hosting a casual BBQ back at the hacienda, so for those of you still in town bring your bathers and shades for some chill out time and laughs. ‘1pm onwards.
Be sure to let us know what days you and your families can make so we have cater accordingly.

Taxi:
A taxi to La Cala will cost approximately €70 one way.
Train/Bus
You can get a train to Fuengirola directly from Malaga Airport and then take a bus from Fuengirola to La Cala This journey is not difficult, albeit a little lengthy, as the train station is attached to the airport where you can just walk across a bridge with your luggage and the Fuengirola train station is directly across the road from the bus terminal.
There is a direct bus from Malaga airport to Marbella which takes approximately 45 minutes and costs 6/8€ one way Once at the Marbella bus terminal you can take the Fuengirola bus (number 220) to La Cala which takes approximately 45-50 minutes ‘ The Fuengirola bus will cost no more than 4€ one way.
