We are very excited to share our special day with you next year and have now finalised the weekend plans…
Friday 23rd June – We would love to get together with you all the night before the wedding for a long-awaited catch up and a few drinks, so we have booked an outside area at La Familia Beach Club, La Cala between 7-10pm (early finish for us, so Martyn can get his beauty sleep before the BIG DAY). This way, you can do your own thing for dinner and come and go as you please (the Spanish culture is to eat later on, so you could always come for a drink and go for food afterwards. Close by restaurants include Olivia’s, Avanto and El Oceano). If you don’t fancy it at all and just want to chill… no worries – we will see you at the Hacienda the day after!
Saturday 24th June – WEDDING DAY!! Please arrive at the Hacienda San Jose (full address is further down this page and on your printed invite) no earlier than 3.45pm, ready for a 4.30pm ceremony. There is no official end time, so partying until the early hours will be encouraged! Dress code: Smart/ Dress to Impress!
Sunday 25th June – Chilled out BBQ and pool party back at the Hacienda from 3pm onwards (gives you a chance to sleep off the hangover!). This is optional, but a great way to blow away the cobwebs and chance to debrief. Don’t forget your bathers and towel!

ACCOMMODATION
The closest areas to the Hacienda are La Cala and Mijas Costa. Marbella is about a 25 minute drive, Malaga is about a 30 minute drive and Fuengirola is about a 15 minute drive. Mijas Pueblo is about a 30min drive away.
El Oceano Hotel 4* – La Cala de Mijas
El Oceano is a luxury boutique hotel located directly on the sea front about 10 minutes from the Hacienda San Jose. We have arranged some discounted rates for our guests. Please note that children under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay at the hotel. Room options and costs are as follow:-
– Oceano Studio, situated adjacent to main beachfront hotel with compact kitchenette, normally 165 euro, discounted to 140 euro

We would recommend a company called Malaga Transfer. ‘Please contact the manager Anabel and quote your wedding party name to negotiate discounted prices to Mijas Costa as follows:
– Standard car ( type Ford Mondeo or similar)’ with capacity for 4 people +’3 medium suitcases: 55 euros
– People carrier up to 7 people: 77 euros
