Buenos Dias Everybody!
Well – the time is almost here!!!’ We hope that everyone is just as excited as we are for our BIG DAY!
We look forward to sharing our special day with all of our favourite people and we can assure there will be lots of fun and laughs(not as loud as Stacey’s) and great memories made along the way!
We cannot wait to see you all in sunny Spain!
Here is some information on what we have planned over the few days. There is also a few helpful tips and suggestions to make your stay in Spain’a little more enjoyable!!
Monday, 15th June (The night before the wedding):’
We (The Bridal party) will be going for the rehearsal Afterwards we will be going to the Marbella Marina (right in front of the boats) around 8.30pm-9pm for a few drinks, you’re more than welcome to join us! ‘It would be great to get everyone together before the big day ‘We thought here would be a good place to meet, as there are several bars close to one another and it’s only a 5 minute walk from the Fuerte hotel.
Tuesday, June 16th – Day of the Wedding:
The wedding will take place at approx 6pm in a location in Marbella.
We have organised coaches to pick up all of our guests outside the Fuerte Hotel at 5pm. Most of you are staying here and If not it is a very central location and easy to get to.
Wednesday, 17th June – Day after the Wedding:
6pm- old town, Marbella(venue tbc)
Here we will provide some tapas and Sangria as a thank you from Stacey & Barry for your friendship and company on their wedding day Then for those of you who have any energy left we will be heading out to Puerto Banus for some more dancing afterwards!!
Weather:
The average temperature in June is around 24’degrees However, it can get a little cool at night so our advice is to bring something warm for the evenings to throw over your shoulders.

PLENTY of sun cream the day before…. No Rudolph noses in our wedding pics please haha!
Marbella is a very relaxed setting contrary to what people may think so dress as casual as you like. ‘Dressing up is mainly for the nightlife in Puerto Banus.
Dining & drinking in Marbella is a lot more reasonable than in Puerto Banus and there are lots of tasty tapas bars on the promenade. Although if you do want to treat yourself there are some restaurants that we can recommend for you on the port:) ‘Everyone’s favourite is Picasso, a cheap and very tasty Italian You might have to wait but believe us….. It’s worth it!

There are a couple of options when it comes to getting from Malaga Airport to Marbella/Puerto Banus The most direct and money saving option is to avail of one of the online transfer services You will find that there are many different sites, but’one of the best value we found was’www.ziptransfers.com
Please do not just hail a cab when you are there, If you DO have to get a cab on arrival, agree on a price before you get into the car, or organise to share with others. You can also organise cabs online prior to arrival for a good price.
