Wedding Venue in Sotogrande: A Beautiful Celebration from Dusk till Dawn…
We are very excited here at Sunshine Weddings to share Part Two of Rachel and Richard’s glorious wedding day with our readers today. The Finca, where our bridal couple tied the knot this very summer, is one of the Costa del Sol’s most stunning wedding venues. Located to the east of the gorgeous province of Cadiz – and still within minutes from the area’s stunning beaches and resort of Sotogrande – the property is an absolute gem whose charm dazzles every single guest!
“We were provided with a choice of florists by Sunshine Weddings, and the venue also provided details of the florist exclusively used by the venue. We did spend a lot of time in selecting the florist, but once we met with Karen we knew instantly that the floral arrangements would be spectacular – as indeed they were.
It was not only Karen’s presentation, but also her attention to detail. She also has a very calm personality, which we absolutely loved as we were confident that, should there be any issues on the day, they would be sorted out calmly and professionally. We need not have worried as every detail was perfect, from the bride’s bouquet, to those of the bridesmaids, the buttonholes, the table arrangements, the gazebo, and the table plan.
All absolutely perfect.
We had a tasting session approximately five months before the event, and we were hugely impressed with the quality, presentation and taste of the food. The portion sizes were impressive, particularly the canapes, and it was great to find that the quality, presentation, taste, and portion sizes were exactly the same on the day of the event.
We elected to have smoked salmon as a starter, with a choice of sea bass or steak (served medium) for the main course. This was followed by a trio of chocolate dessert. The wine perfectly complemented each of the courses.
On the day, the bridal party were attended to by Lorraine, who worked non-stop for almost ten hours to ensure that the entire bridal party looked gorgeous. Some additional work was required, over and above that which had been scheduled, but Lorraine just took this in her stride and still managed to get the bride and bridesmaids to the ceremony on time. What a star!
The formal part of the day commenced with Gary Michael playing saxophone during the drinks reception, and this led into the very relaxed service carried out by Minister Jeff. They both superbly set the relaxed tone for the day, which transcended throughout the remainder of the day.
Both Talia, the photographer and Paco, the Videographer, also spent considerable time capturing the essence of the day, and were able to allow guests to be very relaxed by remaining inconspicuous throughout.
Louise provided a beautiful naked cake, which was absolutely delicious, and she even provided separate cupcakes for our vegan guests.
The co-ordination on the day was superbly carried out by Louise of Sunshine Weddings, who worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure that every single detail was perfect, and that the day was completely hassle-free and could be enjoyed to its fullest.
The process was knitted together by the hard work of Justine behind the scenes, ensuring that we made all the deadlines set, and that all the suppliers were locked down so that we could enjoy our beautiful day.
We truly would not change a single thing if we had to plan the wedding all over again!!!”
As wedding planners we simply couldn’t ask for better feedback than this, and it goes without saying that the Sunshine Weddings team wishes this very special couple a happy, long and healthy marriage in the years ahead.
Lift your glasses to Richard and Rachel!
