Celebrating more than 20 Years of Planning Weddings in Spain

Due to the success of the Sunshine Weddings 20th anniversary ‘win a FREE wedding in Spain competition’, Sunshine Weddings was delighted to host it again in 2024, of which there will be no more entries accepted past 11pm on Sunday 12 May when the competition officially closes. Sunshine Weddings Spain would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated with their entries, and to our service providers who donated their time and services to this competition.

A special shout out to all the bridal couples that have touched Sunshine Weddings Spain past and present, and Michelin star awarded Marc Fosh catering on the island of Mallorca which Sunshine Weddings has teamed up with to offer the incredible opportunity to win a free wedding / renewal of vows at Finca Son Mir. The draw will be made imminently, and as soon as we have the winner’s details, we will circulate it both here and and through our social media platforms, so keep a lookout!

Joanna´s whole professional life has been sharing her love of flowers, in London challenging the establishment view of floristry with fresh and innovative ideas, believing that flowers should be as exciting as fashion and interior design, decorating ballrooms, churches, museums, country manor houses and marquees whilst also securing the contract to supply flowers for the Orient Express Pullman Train. Keeping up to date with latest trends Joanna has attended courses run by innovative Dutch designers and also Philippa Craddock who designed the flowers for Megan and Harry´s wedding.

“We all have a passion in life and mine happens to be flowers. From a young age I was inspired by nature and mesmerised by the colours, the patterns and the smell of flowers. I still never cease to be excited by their possibilities. I moved to Mallorca sixteen years ago and started up my business here and am feel so lucky to live on this beautiful island and visit so many wonderful locations and make couples visions come true for their magical wedding days. We have now worked with clients on hundreds of weddings here and many of them at the gorgeous Son Mir, which lends itself so perfectly as the backdrop for weddings with the beautifully tendered gardens bursting with lavender, rambling roses, olive and Bougainvillea. Whilst eating a delicious lamb and veggies soup together with his mum, in a restaurant hidden in the mountains in Mallorca, Toni saw the light. Taking a sip of the strongest mallorcan red wine he verbalized a life decision which would be an absolute game changer for him. “Mum, I want to become an actor.”

14 years have gone by since that astonishing moment. Over 450 times has Toni seen those one in a million smiles, heard crackling laughs and felt emotional tears so closely that he couldn’t be happier to continue celebrating ceremonies and explaining love stories as they’ve never been told before.

Within the 30minute wedding ceremony Toni masters all the moments, handles with care the formality of the ritual, contributes with his mallorcan vibes to fill every moment with words that will touch hearts and provoke smiles, setting the tone for the rest of the wedding party right where you want it. A ceremony to be remembered. A memory to be kept forever.

This comprises a 30-minute English-language ceremony blessing at the venue on the wedding day, along with aninitial face-to-face consultation before the wedding.

Wedding/Renewal of Vows availability: Valid for Monday to Thursday weddings between April 29, 2024, and April 28, 2025, excluding peak months (June-September)

This prize is subject to the availability of Finca Son Mir, Fosh Catering and Sunshine Weddings.
Eligibility: Open to non Spanish residents aged 21 and above.
This is a Non-transferable prize.
One entry per person/household per calendar month until April 2024.
This prize cannot be combined with any other Son Mir/Fosh Catering wedding or event.
Excludes church wedding ceremony; a supplement applies if requested.
Non-residents of Spain can only be legally married in the Catholic Church.
Fosh Catering includes chair setup for 40 guests, free venue rental at Finca Son Mir, one hour of unlimited white/red wine, beer, and soft drinks, along with 10 canapés during the drinks reception.Additionally, there are up to four dinner tables with linen, each hosting a maximum of 10 guests.
Dinner service: 3 hours, offering a three-course gala dinner (dietary requirements for up to 10% of guests), a BBQ buffet, one dessert per person, unlimited house wine (white/red), beer, and soft drinks during the meal, and cava for speeches.
Finca Son Mir provides its grounds for the wedding celebration at no cost (excluding bedrooms) with an event end time of midnight.
Access from 13.00 to 1 bedroom at Finca Son Mir to prepare until midnight – Subject to Son Mir usage conditions.
