Some people dream of saying ‘I do’ right in their own backyard, while others desire something with a little more wow factor. If you’re in the latter category and you’re dreaming of a Spanish villa wedding venue location, this show-stopping secluded wedding villa in Estepona featured in today’s bridal story could be everything you dreamed of and more.
The most important decision in planning a destination wedding is the location and we promise you it would be hard to find a more perfect venue than this one to celebrate a lifetime of love together, as was the case of the lovely Amy and Scott who said “I do” at this very venue last May.
Let’s take a look back on the key moments of their special day…

Amy and Scott started their wedding day together, waking up to the serene surroundings of a beautiful villa in Estepona. With the sun rising over the Mediterranean, the day promised to be as perfect as the love story they were about to celebrate.
Amy, the bride, decided to add a personal touch to her preparations by styling her own hair. For her makeup, local makeup artist Nicola was scheduled to arrive at the bridal suite by midday, ensuring Amy looked radiant and stunning for her special day.
Meanwhile, a member of the Sunshine Weddings Spain team arrived at the venue to coordinate the final details and ensure everything was set for the celebration helping smooth out any last-minute concerns. Florist Karen arrived shortly after with a beautiful array of floral arrangements. She delivered the bridal bouquet, three bridesmaids’ bouquets, two breast corsages, and four buttonholes. The carefully selected flowers added a touch of elegance and freshness to the day’s décor, perfectly complementing the villa’s stunning setting.
In the early afternoon, photographer Agata arrived at the bridal suite and immediately embarked on capturing the day’s memorable moments. From the delicate details of the bouquets to the infectious excitement shared between Amy and her bridesmaids, Agata’s keen eye ensured that every meaningful moment was documented, creating a beautiful visual story of the day.
As the bridal preparations continued, the ceremony area was meticulously set up, with two seats placed on either side of the aisle and the chairs arranged to provide a perfect view for all guests, and then it was time for the celebration to begin.

The wedding celebration began as guests arrived from their hotels in Estepona to this stunning villa nestled in the hills of southern Andalucia. As guests made their way to the front of the villa, they were greeted by the tranquil sounds of an ambient music playlist, setting a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The reception area was elegantly arranged on the front lawn, near a charming fountain, where guests could enjoy the serene surroundings.
Upon arrival, guests were offered a selection of refreshing welcome drinks, including Sangria, soft drinks, Aperol Spritz, and beer. This delightful assortment catered to various tastes, ensuring everyone could find a beverage to enjoy as they mingled and soaked in the beautiful setting.
As the guests settled in, a member of the Sunshine Weddings team checked in on Amy, offering support and running through the final details of the upcoming moments. Meanwhile, groom Scott, accompanied by his groomsmen, made his way to the front of the ceremony area. There, best man Neil took charge of managing the reserved seating, ensuring that close family and friends were comfortably situated and ready for the ceremony to commence.

Under a brilliant blue sky, the wedding ceremony unfolded on the front lawn of the beautiful villa. The setting was perfect, with the lush green garden and stunning views creating an idyllic backdrop for this special moment.
Amy, looking simply stunning, made her entrance, gracefully gliding up the aisle on the arm of her mother. The ceremony area was beautifully arranged with stone wash Chiavari chairs, adorned with soft peach draping tied with pastel roses. This elegant setup perfectly complemented the rustic styling of the venue.
At the front, a simple wooden table served as the focal point, flanked by two flower stands holding arrangements of pastel roses and carnations. The soft hues and natural elements seamlessly blended with the lush garden, enhancing the romantic atmosphere of the ceremony.
As Amy reached the altar, she was joined by Scott, standing ready to begin their journey together. The ceremony was officiated by Lucy Málaga Ministers, who led the couple through their vows. The couple then exchanged rings, symbolising their commitment to each other. Finally, they signed the marriage contract, marking the official start of their new life together.
Photographer Agata was on hand to capture every magical moment, her skillful photography ensured that every beautiful detail of the day was preserved, creating lasting memories for Amy and Scott to cherish forever.

Now officially husband and wife, Amy and Scott made their way back down the aisle, hand in hand. They were greeted by their guests on the luscious green lawn in the villa’s back garden, where the drinks reception was held. There, guests enjoyed a selection of fine wines and refreshments, perfectly paired with an exquisite array of canapés. The menu featured a variety of gourmet bites, including mini beef steak on a garlic croute with hollandaise sauce or salsa verde, torched goat cheese tart with crispy serrano ham and crab apple jelly, pork brochettes with a whole grain mustard and orange glaze, shredded chicken tikka on mini poppadoms with crispy lettuce and mint yoghourt, gorgonzola with caramelised pear and walnut truffle, and tangy Thai prawn skewers with sweet chilli dipping sauce. These delectable treats delighted the guests, providing a delicious prelude to the evening’s festivities.
As guests mingled and enjoyed the refreshments, photographer Agata continued to capture beautiful family photos. This drinks reception on the back terrace provided a pleasant mix of elegance and relaxation, giving everyone a chance to celebrate with the newlyweds and take in the scenic beauty of the venue.

Following the drinks reception, guests were invited to move to the picturesque back terrace area, near the outdoor seasonal swimming pool, which offered stunning views of the mountains and the hilltops of lower Casares. The setting for the main course dinner was enchanting, with the tables arranged on the back lawn under the canopy of two majestic palm trees.
As guests took their seats, each poured a glass of cava in preparation for the evening’s speeches. The speeches began with the groom, Scott, whoes heartfelt words set a warm and celebratory tone for the night.
A sumptuous BBQ menu followed, offering a feast of diverse textures and flavours, featuring an assortment of salads such as shaved cucumber, carrot, and white radish with a cumin chilli spiced yoghourt dressing; Italian rustic potato salad with sundried tomatoes and parsley with lemon; and Asian coleslaw with spiced peanut dressing. These salads accompanied the main dishes, which included Moroccan spiced lamb kofta with a tomato and coriander salsa, whole entrecôte crusted in herbs and sea salt thinly sliced and served with béarnaise sauce, chermoula spiced chicken skewers with a yoghourt dressing, and tuna steaks with caper mayonnaise.
Guests enjoyed their dinner amid the enchanting ambiance, with fairy lights strung overhead adding a romantic touch to the evening. With sugar levels high and spirits even higher, it was time to hit the dance floor.

Guests were invited to the back terrace, where a four-hour open bar served a variety of drinks. As the sun began to set, the terrace buzzed with music and laughter, creating an ideal atmosphere for the evening’s festivities. The mood was perfect for guests to let loose and celebrate the night away.
A highlight of the evening was the cutting of the wedding cake—a towering cheesecake setup adorned with a selection of crackers and chutneys. This unique twist on the traditional wedding cake was a hit among the guests. Before the sun fully set, the newlyweds and their guests took advantage of the beautiful golden light for pre-sunset photos. As the night went on, guests danced to a funky playlist that kept the dance floor busy. The beautiful villa, bathed in soft evening light and the glow of fairy lights, provided a magical ending to an incredible day.

It was an honour to be a part of your beautiful celebration. We wish you all the best as you embark on this next chapter of your life together.
