At this very location, on the last Saturday of July last year, the beautiful Katie and Ian tied the knot and today we take a look back on the magical highlights of the day.

The Day—at an 18th century old villa with thousands of details in all areas.

The late afternoon ceremony welcomed 80 guests to the grounds of this exquisite villa, surrounded by a 3-acre garden, for a truly magical and memorable celebration, where friends and family were wowed by the incredible stunning mountain backdrop and exquisite sea views.

There by the luxurious aquamarine pool; a wonderful haven to relax in before the ceremony commenced, the guests were offered a glass of bubbly whilst serenaded by the ambient sound of local flamenco artist, Nano, on guitar.

The ceremony—a fairy-tale setting for a fairy-tale wedding.

This venue boasts a host of different spaces making it a special venue thanks to its flexibility in offering a tailor-made atmosphere for each wedding celebration; from small and intimate courtyard ceremonies, through to larger scale events, up to 500 guests! On this occasion, the ceremony was held on the lush lawn which offered the wedding guests some epic views of the flora in the tropical gardens.

In this landscaped garden area, an intimate and emotive ceremony took place, which saw our featured bridal couple, Katie and Ian said ‘I do’ and celebrate their love for a lifetime surrounded by their nearest and dearest. After which guests shower the newlywed bride and groom with flower petals on their way out of the ceremony.

The drinks reception—an enchanted space by the aquamarine pool.

As the guests gathered once again around the aquamarine pool to savour some tasty canapes, including: mushroom stuffed with mushroom duxelle and truffle oil perfume, vegetarian mini gyozas with teriyaki and bomba potato stuffed with guanciale del volcán with gaucha sauce, among many, other mouth-watering creations, the lovely bridal couple enjoyed a moment to immortalise the magic of the day with their loved ones at the hands of the wonderful Andreea behind the lens.

The relaxed atmosphere was made all the more deluxe with Nano once more on guitar providing the guests with soothing music, adding authentic Spanish ambiance to the affair before it was time for more edibles, but this time in the shape of a three-course meal served amidst the beautiful patios and fountains.

In the courtyard of this beautiful country house located in the sun-kissed Spanish countryside, the guests settled to enjoy a traditional three-course wedding menu which began with a serving of lobster salad on fennel cream or shrimp and prawn salad, followed by mains of leg of lamb confit with sweet potato puree in Thai style and crispy vegetables or braised national pink veal tenderloin with a vegetable lasagna as a vegan option for those who preferred.

The delicious meal, set in this intimate and upmarket retreat of tropical gardens, finalised with a selection of scrumptious and heavenly-sounding desserts including white chocolate soup; mango and passion fruit mousse and lemon pie before it was time for everyone to put their dancing shoes on.

The Party—beneath a canopy of stars.

After the speeches, guests moved back to the pool area, ready to watch Katie and Ian’s traditional first dance, as well as to gather for the cutting of the fabulous three-tier white rose wedding cake. All in all, the evening celebrations were the epitome of a real wedding party with everybody happily dancing the night away, creating the perfect end to a perfect day.

And with no immediate neighbours, there are no noise restrictions, meaning family and friends of the bride and groom were able to party carefree into the small hours!

We wish Katie and Ian all the very best for a long and happy marriage. Taking this opportunity to also thank Andreea who captured some truly golden moments on camera which will no doubt be treasured by Katie and Ian for years to come, as well as our other supplies for their continued hard-work.
