The Ceremony – In the quaint village of Benalmadena Pueblo, a place steeped in history and charm.
Nestled amidst the picturesque Andalucian landscape, a charming old-world church sets the stage for a celebration steeped in history and romance.
With its picturesque views that seem to caress the horizon, the quaint church nestled in the centre of the white-washed Spanish pueblo became the ideal setting for Roisin and Colin’s traditional church wedding, a vision of beauty where time itself stood still.
As the first rays of sunlight danced on the ancient walls, the music of Canon in D Pachelbel gently graced the air, setting the tone for a ceremony filled with profound meaning and tender emotions. Standing at the heart of it all, Father Gerard Daly officiated the union with grace, his words weaving a tapestry of love that would forever bind Roisin and Colin together.
As the vows were exchanged, and promises sealed with a kiss, the couple, accompanied by Colin’s very own uncle, together with great friend—the photographers for the day—embarked on a short sojourn to the splendid Castillo Colomares. This regal landmark offered a backdrop of grandeur, where every snapshot captured the essence of Roisin and Colin’s love amidst a setting reminiscent of a fairy tale.
The Wedding Breakfast – an elegant beachside haven that exudes coastal charm and contemporary sophistication.
Nestled along the glistening shores of Benalmadena, a coastal gem on the southern coast of Spain, an enchanting beachside haven awaited and set the stage for a mesmerising seafront wedding reception.
With the arrival at this elegant beachfront restaurant, an hour of mingling and laughter began, as guests savoured delectable canapés – a symphony of flavours curated to tantalise their taste buds. There, Adrian Sax, a master of cool jazz, provided a harmonious backdrop to the affair.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the momentous hour called the guests to gather for an exquisite dining experience. The culinary delights commenced with a timbale of prawn, avocado, and pineapple salad, where each bite provided a fusion of flavours on the palet. The main course, a whole Sea Bass with potato gratin and roasted vegetables, was a feast fit for a king and his queen. And for dessert, a delightful Spanish cheese plate which showcased the rich variety and culinary delights found in this hidden corner of the Costa del Sol.
In the company of 80 nearest and dearest, the evening was woven with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and the promise of a lifetime of happiness.
