Beach Club Wedding Mallorca: Kelly and Austin Get Married In Paradise…

And then there is the stylish zen of the beach club venue where Kelly and Austin recently tied the knot…
We caught up with Bride Kelly for her thoughts on their sunny day of celebrations:
“Mallorca is where we got engaged outside Palma cathedral. Austin brought me for my 30th birthday in 2014 when I was 6 months pregnant with our daughter. He knew how much I loved Mallorca from the stories I’d told him from when my parents used to bring me when I was younger. So when I got engaged there it only made sense to get married there.
The reviews I’d read about Sunshine Weddings stood out a lot to me, as well as the fact that when I called I was put in touch with the right person for what I wanted. It’s scary planning a wedding anyway – never mind one abroad! And having that contact with Sunshine made the process so much more easier and relaxed. I have always wanted a beach wedding and Sunshine Weddings made that possible for me.
I knew the second I was sent the link that the beach club was the perfect venue. I was sent a few beautiful locations to look at from Sunshine Weddings but I knew this one was it. I just made sure I didn’t tell Austin it was my favorite as he would have tried to find fault with it! As soon as we went to the venue it was him that said we didn’t need to see anymore… he knew it was the one.
The whole process of finalising the larger and finer details took about 15 months in total. I actually miss getting my weekly emails from team!
Our guests where absolutely blown away by the venue. We where a bit nervous giving out the invites that people wouldn’t be able to make it with having children. But everyone came. Some came for a week, others came for a long weekend. People are still talking about it now saying it was like a celebrity wedding they see on television! I have never had so many people come up to me and thank me for such an amazing time. I had guests tell me it was better than their own wedding, and also people who are due to get married pre warning their guests that their Big Day isn’t going to be as good as ours was!
My gown was quite simple it had and embellished high neck with a low back and a removable train. The thing that sold it to me was it had hidden pockets! This meant I always had my lipstick and phone on hand…
We didn’t really have a specific theme in mind. We wanted to keep it plain and simple, wooden and white; the venue was beautiful so I didn’t want to take anything away from its beauty. A florist was provided with our venue so I chose my flowers and they where exactly what I asked for, it was that simple.
We opted for a BBQ menu so it was informal and relaxed. For canapes we had melon juice with Iberian ham, Manchego cheese and grape skewers, fried quail eggs with sobrasada, chicken mini brochette with peppers, and panko breaded brie cheese brochette with raspberry sauce. For starters we had Caesar salad, goats cheese and walnut salad, spring rolls, padron peppers, battered fried squid and Iberian ham croquettes. Main course was sirloin steak, grilled pork ribs, grilled salmon, sea bass, baked potatoes stuffed with cheese, creme fraiche and bacon And for dessert everyone tucked into walnut brownie, fruit salad, cheesecake with red fruits and a chocolate and raspberry cake!
After feasting on all of that we didn’t opt for a wedding cake as we knew it wouldn’t get eaten and we just wanted more of a chilled-out vibe rather than posing for photos holding a knife cutting a cake.
We kept the party going until 2 am with the DJ the venue provided. He was absolutely amazing and he played everything we wanted, which had everyone up on their feet!”
