Read on to find out more about what a wedding day in this dream location could look like as we highlight the best moments of Charlotte and Joel’s special day.
On the last Saturday of September of last year, Charlotte and Joel’s wedding guests gathered and mingled in the hotel’s unbeatable outdoor spaces which boast magnificent gardens for the commencement of a very special occasion which was matched with excellent Mediterranean climate.
To the entrance song Llunr’s “The World could end with you” beautifully sung by local artist Alice, the radiant bride, escorted by her mother, glided down the outdoor, petal scattered aisle to were the dashing groom, dressed a smart tartan kilt, awaited.
Surrounded by some 70 friends and family and to the beautiful ceremonial music “All of Me” by John Legend, the emotive wedding nuptials, led by minister Gareth, took place in a palpita, set in the heart of the gardens as a unique enclave for the touching ceremony.
Afterwards, as the guests enjoyed an array of hot and canapes, including chicken skewers with Jack Daniels sauce, fried chicken wings and homemade white prawn salad, the newlyweds, together with their nearest and dearest, enjoyed a moment with photographer, Racheal from Balance Photography, who, in this exclusive setting right next to the beach, captured divine family photos.
Adjacent to a large turquoise outdoor swimming pool, where the nearby soft sandy shores echoed the soft lull of lapping waves gifting a Caribbean vibe to the affair, the wedding breakfast was served. A fantastic spread which started with a delicious Iberian platter with a selection of ham, chorizo and cheese as well as a tricolore salad that was followed by a choice of glazed black angus rib with honey and rosemary served with baby carrots and col purée or sea bass with Thai sauce, soya beans and sprout salad. A heavenly chocolate Éclair with silky pastry cream and a generous drizzle of chocolate made for an utterly delicious round up to the delectable meal.
In this privileged location, the all-important speeches were said and glasses were raised in honour of the newlyweds before the guests were invited to get their dancing shoes on.
Thousands of fairy lights decorated the hotel grounds at dusk in a breathtaking ethereal display which permitted some out of this world snaps to be taken. There, under a canopy of twinkling stars, the bride and groom, together with their loved ones danced the night away; the perfect ending to the most perfect of days.
Our thanks to Charlotte and Joel for letting us help arrange their big day. We wish them many future years of happiness ahead. And our thanks to the wonderfully talented Racheal from Balance Photography for the awesome images.
