Mallorca wedding | Romantic Mediterranean celebration

Back

Welcome to another of our featured bridal stories, where we whisk you away to Spain to relive a truly memorable wedding day. This time, we’re following Olivia and Adam, whose beautiful wedding on 24 May 2026 brought together family and friends for an unforgettable celebration in Mallorca.

Set among the warmth and beauty of the Mediterranean island, their wedding day brought together elegant surroundings, meaningful Jewish traditions, beautiful music and plenty of time for family and friends to celebrate together. From the excitement of the morning preparations through to an emotional chuppah, a lively drinks reception, Israeli dancing, dinner, speeches and a late-night nightclub party, every stage of the day had its own special vibe.

The celebration took place at a historic Mallorcan finca, a traditional stone estate surrounded by countryside and mountain scenery. Despite its peaceful rural feel, the property is conveniently located just around ten minutes from Palma, making it an ideal destination wedding setting for guests travelling from overseas.

With its origins dating back to the 12th century, the estate has a fascinating history. Once an important agricultural and livestock farm, it has since been beautifully restored, retaining its traditional Mallorcan character while introducing modern spaces designed for weddings and events.

But, of course, beautiful surroundings are only part of a wedding story. It is the people, the anticipation, the traditions and the little moments throughout the day that create the memories a couple will carry with them for years to come.

And Olivia and Adam’s day had plenty of those moments. So, let’s take a closer look at how their Mallorca wedding unfolded, beginning with those first precious hours before the celebrations had even begun.

Bridal Preparations – The Excitement Begins

The wedding day began at a 5-star luxury hotel, where Olivia and Adam were staying in separate rooms. For Olivia, the morning was spent surrounded by her bridesmaids and family as the excitement of the day gradually built.

Hair and makeup began with Olivia, her seven bridesmaids and both mothers joining together for the preparations. The hair and makeup team worked through the morning, creating a relaxed but lively atmosphere as everyone prepared for the celebrations ahead.

These early hours of a wedding day are always filled with a special kind of excitement. There is the anticipation of what is to come, the laughter between friends, the final details being checked and, of course, the realisation that the day everyone has been waiting for has finally arrived.

Photographer Abraham arrived at the bridal suite to capture fun photographs with Olivia and her bridal party. Meanwhile, over at the finca, preparations were well underway. The Sunshine Weddings Spain team arrived to oversee the final venue preparations, checking the rooms, air conditioning and finishing touches before guests began to arrive.

Faire Flowers delivered the wedding flowers, including buttonholes, posies, additional stems, Adam’s buttonhole and Olivia’s beautiful bridal bouquet. Then, as the final details came together, Olivia and her bridal party made their way to the finca, where Abraham continued photographing the preparations in the venue’s bridal suite.

At the same time, Adam was getting ready separately with his groomsmen before making his way to the venue. The quiet anticipation of the morning was now turning into the excitement of the wedding itself. While Olivia continued her preparations, Adam gathered with his groomsmen at the finca. The groom and his closest friends enjoyed drinks together before gathering for the tish and signing of the Ketubah.

This provided a quieter, more intimate moment before the main celebrations began, giving Adam and his family an opportunity to pause and take in the significance of the day. The wedding team ensured that the Ketubah was safely looked after as the final preparations for the ceremony continued around them.

For Olivia, another particularly special moment was also approaching; a special “First Look” with her father, beautifully captured be Abraham. It was a quiet, deeply personal moment — a father seeing his daughter as a bride for the very first time.

Welcome – A Mediterranean Beginning

As the first guests began arriving at the finca, the Sunshine Weddings Spain team were ready to welcome them and guide them into the celebration. The welcome took place on the lower lawn, orange garden, where guests could enjoy the beautiful surroundings and settle into the relaxed atmosphere of the afternoon.

Two lemonade stands provided refreshing drinks, while parasols and bistro tables created comfortable spaces for guests to gather. Meanwhile, Musika’s carefully prepared playlist played as friends and family arrived, chatted and enjoyed their first taste of the Mallorca sunshine.

Guests were then gradually guided towards their ceremony seats, with reserved seating carefully managed by the Sunshine Weddings Spain team and groomsmen. The ceremony space was prepared on the lawn, with the beautiful chuppah waiting at the front. And then, it was time.

The Ceremony – Under the Chuppah

Olivia and Adam’s ceremony took place outdoors on the lawn, surrounded by the mature trees, gardens and historic character of the finca. The colourful floral arrangements around the aisle and chuppah added to the relaxed Mediterranean setting, while the open lawn gave the ceremony a spacious feel.

The ceremony began with Adam and his family, accompanied by Mehera. Adam wore an elegant dark brown suit with a white shirt and kippah, keeping his look smart and traditional for the ceremony. Next came Olivia’s family and bridesmaids, entering to Mi Adir & Mi Bon Siach, incorporating the beautiful melody of “You Raise Me Up.”

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for, Olivia’s entrance. Wearing an elegant strapless white wedding dress with a long veil, she made her way towards the chuppah to Boi Beshalom. Her classic bridal look worked beautifully with the natural setting and colourful flowers around the ceremony.

The ceremony continued with the traditional seven circles, accompanied by Eshet Chayil, before moving into the Sheva Brachot, including Mi Sheberach and Im Eshkachech. The combination of Jewish tradition, meaningful music and the outdoor setting made the ceremony a personal celebration for Olivia and Adam. At the conclusion of the ceremony, they left the chuppah as newlyweds before sharing a private moment of Yichud, while their guests made their way towards the drinks reception. The formal part of the wedding was over. Now it was time to celebrate.

Drinks Reception – Cocktails, Canapés and Celebration

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Palmera terrace for the drinks reception. Musika provided the entertainment with saxophone and DJ, creating a lively soundtrack while guests enjoyed drinks and caught up with family and friends.

The full open bar opened for the reception, with three cocktails available throughout the evening. Later, as the party moved into the nightclub, Espresso Martinis would join the drinks menu. Waiting staff served guests while the bar was also available for those who wanted to order their own drinks. Alongside the drinks, a selection of cold and hot canapés was served. While guests mingled, Olivia and Adam took some time away from the main celebration for photographs.

The historic inner courtyard was initially roped off, allowing the newlyweds and their families to gather for photographs without guests passing through. With its traditional stone surroundings, it offered another beautiful backdrop for family photographs.

At the same time, Olivia and Adam enjoyed some intimate couple portraits around the finca grounds. These moments away from the main celebration gave the newlyweds a chance to pause and enjoy a little time together – taking in the surroundings and the reality that they were finally married. Before long, it was time to continue the celebrations.

Dinner – Music, Israeli Dancing and Speeches

Rather than simply moving straight from drinks into dinner, Olivia and Adam’s reception began with another celebration. Musika began performing in the dinner area and guided guests towards the dancefloor. The band then introduced the newlyweds, and the evening immediately burst into Israeli dancing. It was an energetic and joyful start to the dinner celebrations, with guests coming together on the dancefloor before taking their seats. Cava was poured as the dancing continued, before everyone was invited to return to their tables. MC James welcomed everyone, followed by a heartfelt speech from Olivia’s father.

The speeches added another layer of emotion to an already memorable day, celebrating Olivia and Adam and reflecting on the journey that had brought everyone together in Mallorca. Dinner was then served, allowing guests to relax, enjoy the food and catch up with friends and family.

The evening continued with music, conversation and celebration, with the carefully planned flow allowing the atmosphere to build naturally. After the main course, it was time for another round of speeches. MC James introduced the best men, Abel and Aaron, who delivered their speech, followed by Adam, who took the opportunity to speak to the people who had gathered to celebrate with him and Olivia. With the speeches complete, attention turned back towards the dancefloor.

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening arrived when Olivia and Adam took to the dancefloor for their first dance. Their chosen song was “Your Song” by Elton John, performed by Musika.

Surrounded by their family and friends, the newlyweds shared this special moment together. It was an intimate pause in what had already been a wonderfully busy day – a chance for Olivia and Adam to simply enjoy being together as newlyweds before the party continued.

And then, the dancefloor was open once again. Dessert was served while the celebrations continued, allowing guests to enjoy the sweet course before returning to the party.

Party Time – Dancing Until Midnight

The evening moved into full party mode, with the dancefloor filled with friends and family. Guests could head to the bar for drinks while Musika kept the music going. The atmosphere became increasingly energetic as everyone celebrated Olivia and Adam together. For a destination wedding, these are the moments that make the experience so special. Guests had travelled to Mallorca from different places to share this one day with Olivia and Adam – and now everyone was together, dancing, laughing and making memories.

The beautiful surroundings of the finca provided the backdrop as the evening turned into night. But the party was far from over. As midnight arrived, Sunshine Weddings Spain announced that the nightclub was opening. Guests made their way inside for the final stage of the celebration, where Musika’s DJ, drum pad and roaming saxophone took over.

The energy continued late into the night, with the open bar continuing and Espresso Martinis being served. A pizza station then opened, with fresh pizzas prepared throughout the night. Guests could enjoy freshly made pizza as they danced, providing the perfect late-night treat.

Late-night snacks were also arranged for the band and guests, ensuring nobody had to leave the dancefloor hungry. The nightclub continued into the early hours, with the music and bar keeping the celebration alive. For guests beginning their journey home, Sunshine Weddings Spain had arranged return shuttles to take everyone safely back to their hotels. Small bottles of water were provided for guests as they prepared to leave, while the final shuttles brought the celebrations to a close.

And so, after a day filled with love, laughter, family, tradition, music, dancing and unforgettable moments, Olivia and Adam’s Mallorca wedding came to an end.
