Today’s bridal story introduces Saja and Adrian, who tied the knot on 24th September 2025 at a breathtaking sea-view garden finca just outside Marbella. Perched along the blue line of the Mediterranean and surrounded by exotic subtropical gardens, their wedding day unfolded across a series of stunning outdoor spaces — each offering a new atmosphere as the celebration flowed from one moment to the next.

Just minutes from Marbella’s vibrant city centre yet wonderfully private, this Spanish finca combines tropical greenery, sweeping sea views, and versatile indoor and outdoor areas to create a truly romantic setting. From shaded welcome drinks at the entrance, to a chic cocktail hour with a jet-set feel, sunset dining amongst exotic blooms, and dancing beneath fairy lights and a star-filled sky, every part of the day was designed to be enjoyed outdoors in the warm Andalusian air.

With countless picturesque corners for photography, soft Mediterranean light, and the buzz of Marbella close by, Saja and Adrian’s wedding perfectly captured the essence of a Spanish destination celebration — relaxed, stylish, and full of sunshine. Bridal Prep – A Calm Start to a Mediterranean Celebration

Saja and Adrian began their wedding day separately, easing into the morning in a way that felt relaxed and personal. Saja woke up at her parents’ home in Mijas, surrounded by familiar comforts and the quiet excitement that always comes with the hours before saying “I do.” Adrian, meanwhile, spent the morning with close friends, enjoying a calm and light-hearted start to what would become a truly unforgettable day.

As the morning unfolded, Saja’s home gently transformed into a bridal prep haven. Hair and makeup began with an intimate focus on Saja and her mum, creating a calm, unhurried atmosphere filled with soft conversation and anticipation. Lucy arrived to begin styling, carefully crafting Saja’s look while the morning light filtered through the house — a peaceful contrast to the celebrations still to come.

Meanwhile, at the venue, the Sunshine Weddings Spain team arrived to begin preparations and oversee the day’s setup. The ceremony space was thoughtfully arranged outdoors between two towering palm trees, with seating laid out to create a warm, intimate feel for guests. Additional comfort details were put in place, including a designated smoking area, ensuring everything was perfectly prepared ahead of arrivals.

Adrian departed shortly after with his wedding-day essentials, meeting up with his groomsmen and close friends as they made their way to the finca. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of anticipation — laughter, handshakes, and the shared excitement of what lay ahead.

As hair and makeup were completed and the final checks were made, Saja set off from Mijas, sharing her journey with the Sunshine Weddings Spain team so everything flowed seamlessly. It was the moment the day began to gather pace — moving from quiet preparation to the anticipation of arrival — setting the tone for a beautiful Mediterranean wedding filled with sunshine, love, and celebration.

Welcome – A Shaded Arrival by the Mediterranean

As guests began to arrive, they were warmly welcomed in the shaded entrance area of the finca, where the atmosphere immediately felt calm, elegant, and unmistakably Mediterranean. Groomsmen, Kobin, Emi, Alexandro, and Pablo greeted everyone with smiles, helping guests feel at ease as they stepped into the celebration.

Refreshing welcome drinks were served on arrival — infused waters with lemon, orange, and natural options — the perfect way to cool off and settle into the afternoon. Nano, a local Spanish guitarist, played gentle ambient music, his melodies drifting through the gardens and setting a relaxed, sun-soaked tone as guests mingled beneath the shade sails and took in glimpses of the sea beyond.

Behind the scenes, the Sunshine Weddings Spain team ensured every detail was flowing seamlessly, quietly guiding the day toward the ceremony while guests enjoyed the easy, unhurried welcome Saja and Adrian had envisioned.

The Ceremony – Between the Trees, With Sea Views Beyond

When the time came, Adrian made his way to the ceremony area accompanied by his mother and stepfather, walking toward the front as Can’t Help Falling in Love softly played — a tender, meaningful moment that gently signalled the start of something special. Guests were then invited to take their seats beneath the trees on elegant white Chiavari chairs, creating a beautifully intimate setting framed by nature.

The ceremony space itself was simple and refined. Positioned between two palm trees with distant views stretching toward the Mediterranean, a delicate arch dressed by Deseos framed the moment perfectly, paired with a coordinated ceremony table that blended effortlessly into the surrounding greenery.

The processional began with Saja’s mother walking down the aisle, before the atmosphere shifted once more for Saja’s entrance. Accompanied by her father, she walked to A Whole New World, a truly emotional moment that felt both personal and cinematic. Saja wore a silky, heart-shaped gown that dropped smoothly to the ground, its effortless silhouette moving beautifully with each step. Her look was completed with a stunning lace veil, subtly inspired by traditional Spanish mantón de Manila detailing — a romantic nod to her setting that added softness, drama, and unmistakable Mediterranean charm. With sunlight filtering through the trees and all eyes fixed ahead, it was one of those moments where time seems to slow.

Waiting beneath the palms, Adrian looked effortlessly classic in a tailored black suit paired with a crisp white shirt — timeless, elegant, and perfectly suited to the refined outdoor setting. Together, they exchanged vows beneath the trees, surrounded by family, nature, and the soft hum of the Mediterranean in the distance. The ceremony was conducted bilingually in English and Spanish, allowing every guest to feel fully present and connected.

As the ceremony drew to a close, petals were gently handed out to guests seated along the aisle. With Saja and Adrian officially pronounced married, glasses of cava and San Francisco were prepared, and as Con La Luna played, they made their joyful exit together. Guests followed closely behind, showering them with petals and applause, before flowing naturally toward the drinks reception — the celebration now well and truly underway.

Cocktail Hour – Sunlit Drinks & Mediterranean Rhythm

As the ceremony concluded, guests flowed naturally through the centre of the finca into the shaded reception area, where the celebration continued against a backdrop of tropical planting, sea breezes, and elegant garden styling. Glasses of cava, sangria, white and red wine, and beer were waiting on arrival, with the open bar officially setting the tone for a relaxed Spanish afternoon.

Live music instantly lifted the atmosphere as Nano began his set with Bamboleo by the Gipsy Kings, followed by uplifting flamenco-inspired melodies that filled the gardens with warmth and rhythm. Guests mingled easily beneath parasols and palm shade, settling into wrought-iron seating and exploring the many scenic corners of the finca.

Cold canapés were served first, followed by warm selections, giving everyone plenty to enjoy as conversations flowed. Family photos began shortly after, guided smoothly with the help of Jamal and Alexandro, allowing Saja and Adrian to move effortlessly between groupings while still enjoying the moment.

As Nano brought his set to a close, the energy softened just slightly, ready for the transition ahead. A curated playlist took over in the dining area, and guests were gently invited toward dinner — the celebration unfolding at a beautifully natural pace.

Wedding Breakfast – Al Fresco Dining in the Garden

Dinner took place on the left-hand side of the garden, where round tables dressed in crisp white linens and paired with white Chiavari chairs were set beneath the open sky. At the heart of the layout sat a sweetheart table, allowing Saja and Adrian to enjoy an intimate vantage point while still feeling fully connected to their guests. Table plans, numbers, and name cards were thoughtfully styled by Deseos and Alabardero, tying everything together with elegant simplicity.

Before joining their guests, Saja and Adrian enjoyed a short private moment together, with Sunshine Weddings Spain bringing them a plate of canapés — a chance to pause, breathe, and take in the fact they were now married.

They were then warmly invited into dinner, greeted with smiles and applause. As starters were served, a relaxed dinner playlist set the mood, followed by mains and dessert as the soft Spanish evening light faded into dusk. Wines, cava, soft drinks, and water flowed freely, keeping the atmosphere light, social, and unhurried.

The bespoke wedding cake arrived shortly after dessert, quietly placed and ready for its moment later in the evening, while guests lingered at their tables enjoying conversation and the gentle transition from day into night.

Party – Dancing Beneath the Trees & Into the Night

As the evening shifted gears, guests were drawn toward the outdoor party space beneath the terrace, perfectly positioned facing the two iconic trees that framed the garden. The cake cutting took place outdoors, followed immediately by Saja and Adrian’s first dance to Solamente Tú by Pablo Alborán — a beautifully emotional moment that felt intimate, romantic, and effortlessly elegant.

The DJ then took over, launching into a high-energy set that carried the celebrations outdoors until late evening. Laughter, dancing, and music filled the garden as guests enjoyed the warm night air, before everyone was invited inside to continue the party.

Inside, the finca transformed once more — this time into a vibrant, nightclub-style space facing the trees outside. The dancefloor stayed full, late-night snacks were served, and the celebration continued well into the early hours, ending on a joyful high as music and the bar gently came to a close.
