Today’s bridal story features the lovely Ellie and James, who celebrated their marriage on Monday 28th July 2025 at a magnificent private venue nestled in the hills just outside Marbella. Surrounded by panoramic sea and mountain views, their wedding day was the perfect blend of relaxed sophistication and heartfelt emotion — a reflection of their personalities and love story.

The morning began quietly at a nearby hotel, where Ellie and James woke together to the soft sounds of Marbella coming to life. Excitement filled the air as preparations got underway in the bridal suite. Hair stylist Flavia and makeup artist Eva worked their magic, creating a timeless look for Ellie.

Welcome & Guest Arrival – The Celebration Begins
As guests started arriving at the villa, they were met by panoramic views of the coastline and countryside — a setting that instantly took everyone’s breath away. Dan and Brad, part of James’s wedding party, warmly welcomed guests from the coach, guiding them through the gardens to the welcome drinks area.

Meanwhile, Ellie and her bridal party began their journey to the venue, a convoy of cars led by the bride and her father. At the same time, Nano moved toward the ceremony area, ready to accompany the next unforgettable moment with music that would perfectly frame the emotional walk down the aisle.
The Ceremony – A Promise Beneath the Spanish Sky
Guests were guided into the ceremony space — a breathtaking amphitheatre nestled within the hills, framed by olive trees and flowers in soft pastel tones. Fans and iced water were waiting on each seat, ensuring comfort beneath the Andalusian sun.
As the music began, James led his parents to their seats before joining his best men at the front, the emotion written clearly across his face. The atmosphere hushed as the bridal procession began — Brad, Ellie’s cousin, escorted her mother down the aisle, followed by bridesmaids Hedi, Loren, Abby, Kate, Nieve, and Courtney, their dresses flowing in the warm breeze.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. As Nano’s final song played — fittingly, Here Comes the Sun — guests began to make their way toward the dinner area. The bar closed briefly, the playlist changed, and the atmosphere softened into the perfect balance of elegance and celebration, ready for the evening ahead.
Dinner & Speeches – Toasts & Togetherness
As guests took their seats beneath the fading Spanish light, glasses of cava and wine were poured in preparation for the evening’s toasts. The entrance of the couple was a lively affair, introduced by Best Man Sam to the upbeat sounds of When Love Takes Over by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland — a perfect reflection of this fun-filled moment.
The speeches began soon after: heartfelt words from Ellie’s father, followed by warm, funny tributes from Sam and Dan, and finally an emotional, twelve-minute speech from James that had guests both laughing and wiping away tears. Between courses of beautifully prepared starters, mains, and a sweet trio of desserts, laughter filled the air and the glow of sunset cast a golden hue across the tables.
As the last speech concluded, guests raised their glasses in celebration, marking the end of dinner and the beginning of the night’s festivities.
The Party – Dancing, Music & Midnight Magic
As the stars began to emerge over the hills, the celebrations shifted to full party mode. The cake — delivered by local cake baker Louise — made its grand entrance just before sunset, followed by the cake-cutting, set perfectly to Forever by Chris Brown. With photos taken and cava poured, it was time for the dancing to begin.
The first dance was a standout moment: Latch by Sam Smith, remixed by DJ Maxee, started slow and romantic before building into a high-energy beat that brought everyone onto the dance floor. The crowd erupted, and the party was officially underway.
For the next few hours, music filled every corner of the venue. Maxee’s mixes kept energy high, Talia captured every spontaneous dance and laugh, and Libby documented the magic in her creative, behind-the-scenes style. As the night went on, the cake was served to guests, and the open bar continued to flow, complete with Ellie and James’ personalised drink stirrers — a small touch that felt perfectly them.
As midnight approached, the celebration moved indoors, the energy still electric but intimate, with close friends singing along to every song. The final track, Live Forever by Oasis, played at the end of the night — a fitting close to a wedding that was as timeless as it was full of heart.
At 1:30 a.m., the final coach departed, taking guests back to Puerto Banús and their hotels — still smiling, still talking about a day that perfectly captured the spirit of love and celebration under the Spanish sun.
