There, on a delightful Summer’s day last August, Kim and Chris tied the knot in a fun-filled ceremony surrounded by friends and family.

To kick off the wedding celebrations, the bridal couple organised a fantastic get together in Marbella old town, several nights before the actual wedding day. In one of the oldest houses in town, called The Farm, the wedding party met for an intimate pre-wedding party in a private courtyard on the site and got the chance to taste some delectable mediterranean cuisine including fruits starters to share with Iberian cured meats, cheese and local tomatoes with tuna and basil before enjoying a mouthwatering paella or farmers burgers and for dessert a choice of chocolate mousse or fruit brochette.

The marriage contract signed, an emotive moment captured by the talented Anna Miel.

The pre-wedding party followed by a couple of days chilling at the beach enjoying the sunshine in great company before the big day arrived where all the guests made their way up to the rustic villa. There they were greeted by family friend Daisy, an incredibly talented vocal singer and guitarist, who performed an amazing set as friends and family gathered.

The bride looked simply stunning in her sexy yet chic gown as she walked up the aisle to “Can’t help falling in love.” A moment made all the more magical when Maggie, the bride’s daughter, who had formed part of the bridal procession then picked up the microphone, and, with a lovely voice, joined in with the singing.

At the altar, the bride was united with the groom, who looked the most dashing in his smart beige suit, by officiant Jeff who led a fun and uplifting ceremony.

The emotive vows were said, the rings exchanged and the marriage contract signed, beautifully captured by the talented Ana Miel who did a fantastic job snapping all the magical and fun moments of the day.

Heartwarming wedding speeches are made.

Now as husband and wife, Kim and Chris walked back down the aisle to Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister” also sung by Daisy where they joined their guests on the luscious green lawn for fresh sangria, wine and refreshments as well as an array of delectable canapes.

The main course was held in a large outdoor garden area which had been decorated with whimsical, fairy-tale vibes and Balinese parasols, and the flower arrangements at the hands of the wonderful florist Karen. There the wedding guests were offered a fantastic feast of diverse textures including: chicken caesar salad, or salmon and an avocado cream tower. For the main course they had a choice of chicken with nuts, glazed onions and apple puree, or chicken hake with langostino in a curry and coconut sauce. And a very refreshing mint and Yasu mousse with red fruits for dessert.

In this dreamy garden space moving, unique and funny wedding speeches were said and several more heartwarming moments were captured.

After the all-important speeches, bride, groom and guests made their way to the dance floor that had been set up in another part of the villa’s extensive grounds and partied the night away. There Daisy continued to play her music for the first hour as the sun set and the whimsical, fairy-tale vibes came into play, adding a touch of magic to the evening. After Daisy finished her set, DJ Steve Altman took over and the vibe changed from commercial wedding songs to some Ibiza classics including some cool old skool dance tunes.
