Mia and Sam spent the morning separately, getting ready with their closest family and friends before meeting at the ceremony.

While Mia enjoyed a relaxed morning with her mother and bridesmaids, Sam spent the morning getting ready with his father, groomsmen and members of the wedding party.

As hair and make-up got underway, photographer Talia from Thoroughly Gorgeous captured the excitement of the bridal preparations, documenting the special moments shared between Mia, her family and bridesmaids before the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Sam and his groomsmen completed the final suit preparations and gathered for photographs before making their way to the venue together.

Across the venue, the Sunshine Weddings Spain team and suppliers were putting the finishing touches in place. The welcome area was prepared beneath shaded terraces for arriving guests, while the ceremony space overlooking the Andalusian hills was styled with elegant floral displays and guest parasols, ensuring everything was ready for the celebrations ahead.

First Looks & Special Moments

Before the ceremony, Mia and Sam each shared a few quiet moments with the people closest to them.

Mia’s first look with her bridesmaids was filled with excitement as they saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. She then shared a private first look with her father, creating one of the day’s most emotional moments before they walked down the aisle together.

Meanwhile, Sam spent time with his groomsmen, best men, ushers, witnesses and close family, going over the final ceremony plans and capturing a few photographs before guests arrived.

Welcome Drinks & The Tish

As guests began arriving at the private country retreat, they were welcomed with chilled water and soft drinks beneath shaded garden terraces, providing a refreshing start to a warm spring afternoon in southern Spain.

Friends and family had travelled from across the world to celebrate with Mia and Sam, and the atmosphere was immediately filled with warm reunions, excited conversation and the anticipation of the ceremony to come.

While guests settled into the venue, preparations began for one of the most meaningful Jewish traditions of the day—the Tish.

Held in an intimate indoor setting, the Tish brought together Sam, his closest family members, witnesses and friends in a celebration rooted in tradition. Surrounded by conversation, laughter and shared anticipation, the gathering provided a special opportunity for the groom to spend time with the important men in his life before making his way to the Chuppah.

Whisky was poured, stories were shared and the room filled with the unmistakable energy that makes this part of a Jewish wedding so memorable. At the same time, Mia remained with her bridal party, enjoying a quieter moment with refreshments before preparing for the ceremony. With photographers moving between both locations, every stage of the story was documented, preserving not only the major milestones but also the genuine interactions that made the day feel so personal.

As the Tish came to a close, ushers gently guided guests towards the ceremony area while musicians began to fill the gardens with live keyboard music. Beneath an elegant floral Chuppah overlooking the rolling Andalusian countryside, everything was now ready for the moment Mia and Sam had been waiting for—the beginning of their marriage.

The Chuppah Ceremony

As guests made their way to the ceremony space, they were welcomed into an elegant outdoor setting overlooking the rolling hills of the Andalusian countryside. Ushers escorted family and friends to their reserved seats while offering parasols to provide shade beneath the warm spring sunshine.

The ceremony itself was centred around a breathtaking Chuppah that blended beautifully with its natural surroundings. A flowing ivory canopy was suspended above the couple, creating a soft, light-filled central point framed by abundant floral arrangements. Masses of white hydrangeas, roses, delicate baby’s breath and seasonal blooms were intertwined with fresh greenery, cascading naturally around each pillar to create a romantic garden-inspired design.

A crisp white aisle led towards the Chuppah, while elegant stonewash Chiavari chairs provided seating for guests. As everyone settled into their seats, gentle keyboard music accompanied by the Chazan created a calm and emotional atmosphere. The ceremony procession began with grandparents taking their places beneath the Chuppah before family members and the bridal party made their entrance one by one.

Finally, it was Mia’s turn. Accompanied by her father, she walked down the aisle wearing a timeless strapless ballgown with a structured bodice, full tulle skirt and cathedral-length veil. Waiting beneath the Chuppah, Sam wore a light beige suit jacket with tailored trousers and a crisp white shirt. Together, their classic, elegant styles perfectly complemented the relaxed sophistication of their destination wedding in southern Spain.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the shaded gardens for drinks while Mia and Sam took a few moments together before rejoining their family and friends.

Cava, beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and chilled water were served as guests mingled, while live keyboard music provided the soundtrack to the reception.

Meanwhile, Mia and Sam returned to the Chuppah with photographer Talia from Thoroughly Gorgeous for portraits. The abundance of flowers, soft draping and countryside views provided a beautiful backdrop before they were joined by parents, grandparents, siblings, the bridal party and close friends for family photographs.

As guests enjoyed the reception, the Sunshine Weddings Spain team prepared the terrace for the evening celebrations, ready to welcome everyone through for dinner.

Dinner & Israeli Dancing

As the drinks reception came to an end, guests were invited to the main terrace for dinner. The space was set with a mix of round and long tables, stonewash Chiavari chairs and personalised place settings, ready for the evening ahead.

Before taking their seats, everyone gathered around the dance floor for one of the highlights of the day. While Mia and Sam made a quick final preparation, the keyboard, Chazan and DJ gradually built the music, ready to welcome the couple into the celebrations.

As Mia and Sam were announced, family and friends surrounded them for traditional Israeli dancing. Guests quickly formed circles, clapping, singing and dancing together in a celebration that brought every generation onto the dance floor. The combination of live keyboard music, the Chazan and DJ created an incredible atmosphere and set the tone for the rest of the evening.

Wedding Breakfast & Speeches

Following the Israeli dancing, guests took their seats for the wedding breakfast. The terrace was styled with a mix of round and long tables, personalised place settings and floral centrepieces, creating a relaxed setting for the evening.

Before the first course was served, Mia’s father welcomed everyone with a heartfelt speech, reflecting on the journey that had brought both families together in southern Spain.

As dinner was served, DJ Maxi provided music in the background while guests enjoyed good food, conversation and time together.

During the meal, Mia and Sam stepped away briefly with photographer Talia from Thoroughly Gorgeous to capture a few golden-hour portraits before returning to join their guests.

The speeches continued with stories from the three best men, bringing plenty of laughter before Sam thanked everyone who had travelled to celebrate with them. It was a fitting way to round off the formal part of the day before the evening celebrations began.

First Dance & Evening Celebrations

As dinner came to an end, it was time for Mia and Sam’s first dance. Surrounded by family and friends, they shared the moment before inviting everyone onto the dance floor to celebrate with them.

DJ Maxi kept the party going with a mix of music that appealed to every generation, while saxophonist Demian joined throughout the evening with live performances that added another layer of entertainment.

Dessert was served before guests gathered once again for traditional Israeli toasts, raising their glasses to the newlyweds before returning to the dance floor.

From there, the celebrations continued well into the night, with friends and family making the most of every moment together. As midnight approached, the party moved indoors to the venue’s nightclub, where the celebrations continued into the early hours.

Late-night pizzas gave guests a chance to refuel before heading back to the dance floor, while DJ Maxi kept the music playing until the final songs of the evening.

As the celebrations came to an end, Mia and Sam’s wedding had been everything they had hoped for—a day that brought together family, friends and Jewish traditions in a beautiful setting, ending with a party to remember.
