Ruth and Damien’s celebrations were the perfect example of everything you could wish for in a September wedding in southern Spain– glorious sunshine, summery heat with a subtle hint of autumn and perfect lighting for natural looking and beautifully lit photos.

The chosen venue couldn’t have been more dreamy either, a unique enclave wedding villa in Marbella in an unbeatable location with sea and mountain views.

As suppliers began to arrive the day before the wedding, it was clear that all the spaces at the venue were going to transform it into something magical, with meticulous detail paid to each element of the day and beautiful styling put in place.

Pre-wedding Day Celebrations to set the fiesta vibe.

Celebrations kicked off the night before with Ruth and Damien enjoying a relaxed dinner for 30 of their friends and family, with other guests joining for after drinks, before the bridal couple, following tradition separated for the night; Damian staying with his family in a nearby villa and Ruth with her girl gang at all-Inclusive hotel close to Puerto Banus.

Wedding day celebrations began with Ruth and her maids enjoying some bubbly in the bridal suit before being joined by hairstylist Maite and make-up artist, Nicola. While the preparations were in full swing, Damien and his groomsmen were collected by a 7-seater auto, and, with button-holes in place, they made their way to the dreamy Marbella villa for the mid-afternoon ceremony.

Ruth looked stunning in her bespoke, lace bodice wedding dress as she made her way towards the outdoor wedding ceremony area, beautifully adorned with the most gorgeous 4-posted wedding arch with floral and draped tulle, where the rings were exchanged and the sentimental vows said.

The newlyweds share an intimate moment in the shade of a large tree.

After the ceremony, the newly-weds, to the sound of Avicii’s “Levels” performed by local musician Jesus, joined their guest by the outdoor Pergola for a celebratory drink and some appetising canapes including: Salmon skewer with fine herbs, a selection of sushi rolls and Chicken pita kebabs to name by a few – all which were perfectly seasonal and varied.

A day of fun-filled elements and magic woven into this September wedding.

Whilst the incredible Rebecca Davidson captured the newly-weds’ joy, guests moved to the sunny gardens on the grounds’ lower lawn to continue with the fantastic feast. There, on a lush green lawn, magic had been woven to create an incredible outdoor seating area for guests to relax and enjoy a generous offering from a BBQ buffet station which included: Pork cut, chicken churrasco, homemade sausages and Chicken Lollipops, as well as a large selection of Garnishes and Sauces finished with heavenly Lemon tart on pineapple carpaccio with Pink pepper for dessert.

Whilst guests were dining, a local band arrived to set up by the dance floor, in a space next to the pergola, and as the day cooled off, some incredible sunset snaps were taken before the bride and groom, friends and family were invited to hit the dancefloor.

An outdoor space which sparkled to life as thousands of overhanging fairy lights were lit, which together with an open bar, late night snacks ensured that an unforgettable day and night, full of love and laughter, was had by all.

We wish Ruth and Damien all the very best for a long and happy marriage. Taking this opportunity to also thank Rebecca Davidson who captured some truly golden moments on camera which will no doubt be treasured by the newlyweds for years to come. A big GRACIAS also to all our other supplies for their continued hard-work.
