A large space set among tranquil nature, this rustic wedding venue in Marbella is a must if you are looking to celebrate a rural wedding with all the added charm of southern Spain.

Today’s bridal story takes us to a beautiful finca with panoramic views of sea and mountain, just 30 minutes from Malaga Airport.

There on a splendid summer’s day, the first Friday of June, the beautiful bridal couple Jennie and Andy tied the knot.

“I do” under the beautifully decorated wedding arbor.

The set-up could not have been more picturesque, with 14,000 meters of garden, this private Marbella wedding venue has numerous enclaves filled with beauty. It’s a nature-lover’s paradise and brought Jennie and Andy’s wedding vision to life.

The day started with the wedding guests arriving at this breathtaking Andalusian finca and enjoying a welcome drink on the upper and lower level of the grounds’ built-in pergola, a private place to sit and chat.

From there the wedding guests were ushered to be seated in the ceremony area which had been set up in the most whimsical of spaces, a quiet retreat made all the more romantic as the radiant bride walked towards the outdoor wedding arbor that was surrounded by lush greenery to the sound of Canon in D played on piano and cello.

There she was joined with the dashing groom in an emotive wedding ceremony surrounded by family and friends and an oasis of peace which made the perfect place to say “I do.”

After a warm-hearted recessional dance to “You’ve got the Love”, Jennie and Andy, now as husband and wife, joined their guests back on the elegant grounds around the built-in pergola. There, with stunning views to the iconic mountain that looms proudly above Marbella and the Costa del Sol, the bridal couple and their guests enjoyed some refreshments and a selection of canopies including mouthwatering: Blinis of marinated salmon tartar, sea bass and lime ceviche, an assortment of Iberian hams and cheese, Thai chicken fingers and baby shrimps cones. All the while enjoying the brilliant Spanish June weather and a great chilled-vibe music set by the talented percussionist Alex, on bongos.

Meanwhile, the younger members of the wedding party were greatly entertained by a kids entertainer who did a fantastic 90 minute children’s show.

Before dinner was served and the guests settled in the heart of the lower grounds of this magnificent finca, the newlyweds together with their nearest and dearest enjoyed a photo session at the hands of the accomplished photographer Issy Benchetrit. Snaps taken and the bridal couple joined their guests for a magnificent tapas and paella menu, with a seperate menu for the children who continued to be entertained, this time with a goodies bag that had been placed behind each of the children’s chairs.

Fun photos snaps on the grounds of this magnificent finca.

The finger-licking feast was finished off with white chocolate mousse with brownie and vanilla ice cream, a slice of paradise enjoyed in an equally paradidalical setting.

The all-important wedding speeches.

The dance floor was laid out in the upper pergola of this wonderful Andalusian finca. There, after some sunset images were taken, the party kicked off with the bridal couple enjoying their first dance to – Let Loose – Crazy for you. After which everyone enjoyed an uplifting playlist by DJ Jenny, together with a flow of late night snacks: Ham & cheese brioches style, chistorra bites, assortment of mini sponge cake, white chocolate wedding cake and open bar which saw everyone through to 2am before wrapping up the most magical day and night for the lovely Jennie and Andy whom we sincerely thank for sharing their special day with us.
