Wedding ceremony

After a welcome drink in the outdoor pergola area, Rachel and Ross’ wedding guests made their way to the main ceremony area which had been set up at the top of a natural slope, there wooden benches made a natural space for all the guests to be seated.

Surrounded by hidden walkways, waterfalls and panoramic views to the sea, the stunning bride appeared and, to the sound of “At Last” by Etta James sung by the incredibly talented vocalist, Mr Maph, glided up the outdoor aisle on the arm of her father.

By the outdoor ceremony site, the lovely couple were joined as husband and wife by Minister Gayle, who officiated the ceremony. An emotive and romantic moment witnessed by Rachel and Ross’ loved ones, some 130 guests, who had flown in specially to be a part of the magical and unforgettable day.

Cocktail area

Once the vows were said, the rings exchanged, in a symbol of the commitment to each other, the newlyweds enjoyed a fun wedding recessional to “This will be an everlasting love,” by Natalie Cole, once again sung by the sensational sounding Mr. Maph, who was the incharge of then keeping the happy vibes going through the wedding reception as the newlyweds and their guests moved to the  cocktail area, once again by the outdoor pergola area, an amazing spot for guests to mingle and enjoy nice, mediterranean food with the panoramic sea view. Food which included an assortment of canapes such as mouth watering dishes of marinated tuna with soya, lime and ginger, small sandwiches of Tuna tataki and cucumber with kimuchi, chicken pita kebabs, quiche of payoyo cheese and an assortment of croquettes, washed down with plenty of beer from a beer corner that had been set up to one side of the outdoor pergola, as well as other refreshments that were offered around.

Just before the first call for dinner, as Mr Maph continued to keep the guest entertained with a funky vocal set, the newlyweds enjoyed their photo session with the talented Salvador from Evergreen, where the tropical gardens and romantic walkways provided the ideal backdrops in which to immortalise the magical day.

Dinner

On the lower levels of the finca is an open al fresco dining area where Rachel and Ross together with all their guests continued to enjoy the nice, outdoor atmosphere. There, the sea view, together with the balmy evening added to the Mediterranean ambiance of the night and the all-white styling, with white rustic cross back chairs, added a touch of chic finery to the affair.

A place where the newlyweds and their loved ones enjoyed a choice of chicken caesar salad with bacon or seafood salad tower for starters, followed by an alternative of Iberian sirloin medallions, millefeuille of smoked potato and mushrooms with crispy vegetables stick or pularda chicken with nuts, glazed onions and apple pureé or a vegetarian option of Mushrooms and wild asparagus risotto for the mains, and a heavenly mint & yuzu with red fruits to finished of the delicious meal, in an area with a total capacity for 300 seated guests.

As an original surprise for the bride, two singing waiters served the food in a most entertaining way that was hugely successful and kept the fun vibes alive throughout the meal.

The party

A classical four-tier, chocolate and raspberry wedding cake with chocolate ganache filling, finished with white Italian meringue buttercream and rose gold leaf in a rustic formation was cut before it was time to hit the dance floor.

There the newlyweds enjoyed their first dance, with Mr. Maph once again on the mic for a fantastic version of “Oh what a night” which was then followed by an hour vocal set before DJ Steve Altman took over and was joined by Demian on Sax and, Annya & Alex on violin for a dynamic music mix.

At midnight the guests moved indoors to continue partying the night away to a catchy playlist, where the fun and late night snacks kept everyone going strong into the early hours.

At the end of the evening all the guests were then taken, by a private transfer service, back to their respective hotels, safely finalising the most perfect of days.
