Join us as we revisit the day when Gina and Aaron’s love story reached its peak amidst the picturesque Marbella countryside.
The drinks reception was held in the expansive 14,000-square-metre garden area, offering ample space for the setting of the upcoming service and outdoor dining. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a refreshing drink from a convenient flavoured water station, strategically placed near the ceremony area at the garden’s lower slope.
As everyone mingled and enjoyed their drinks, the guests also had the chance to explore the lush gardens, a haven of hidden walkways, waterfalls, and charming spots with sea views, making the area a perfect backdrop to capture those special moments of the big day.
The ceremony was set for the mid-afternoon in a lush garden surrounded by fragrant flowers and shaded benches at the top of a gentle slope. Adding a personal touch to the ceremony, the groom’s brother, Scott, served as the minister and the music playlist set the perfect mood as Gina and Aaron exchanged their heartfelt vows.
After the ceremony, Minister Scott invited all the guests to gather back at the flavoured water station, nestled in the lush green area of the garden’s lower slope. There, guests had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of beverages, such as cava, wines, beers, and soft drinks. The drink selection was accompanied by a delicious array of hot and cold canapés, including tomato and mozzarella skewers with basil emulsion, an assortment of cheeses, langoustine with romesco sauce, and Thai chicken fingers.
This interlude also provided a moment for Talia, a skilled Costa del Sol based wedding photographer, to capture some cherished family photos, all while a 150-minute playlist filled the air, setting the perfect atmosphere for the gathering.
As the late afternoon sun began its descent, the first call for dinner was announced. Guests were treated to their choice of wines and water, and three parasols adorned the upper garden level. All glasses were filled with cava for the all-important speeches, accompanied by a selection of typical Spanish tapas.
For the main course, guests had the option of savouring Iberian (Pork) sirloin medallions with mille feuille of smoked potato and mushrooms, or indulging in sea bass fillet over artichoke hearts and wild asparagus with romesco sauce. The culinary journey concluded with a delightful dessert – lemon tart on pineapple carpaccio with pink pepper coulis.
With dinner concluded, the newlyweds and their guests moved to the dance area, where six hours of open bar service commenced, and DJ Michelle set the stage for a night of celebration. Gina and Aaron shared their first dance as a married couple, surrounded by the love and joy of their friends and family.
As night fell and the stars illuminated the sky, the secluded surroundings of this Costa del Sol finca offered an uninterrupted backdrop for this special night. The venue’s indirect lighting twinkled to life, achieving a very elegant effect for the celebration, with capacity for 250 guests.
Late-night snacks kept the energy high as the party continued into the early hours, when a private coach service then ensured that all guests returned safely to their accommodations, ending a day and night filled with rustic charm, family touches, and unforgettable moments.
We wish Gina and Aaron all the very best for a long and happy marriage. Taking this opportunity to also thank Talia, whose photography skillfully captured precious moments that will undoubtedly be cherished by Gina and Aaron for a lifetime.
