Exactly as it was for the beautiful Jodie and Michael, who held their nuptials at this enchanting villa on a glorious summer’s day last September. A bridal story we are delighted to share with you today…
The Day—in a beautiful location with stunning views and majestic gardens
After a welcome drink on the front patio of the villa, Jodie and Michael’s wedding guests were invited to the ceremony area held on a roof terrace with wrap-around balconies that affords sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. There, the bride looked absolutely radiant in her lace trumpet wedding gown, dazzling all her guests, as well as, of course, the handsome groom.
After the fabulous ceremony conducted by popular Costa del Sol wedding minister Jeff Gruner, Jodie and Michael, were whisked away by the talented wedding photographer, Rebecca Davidson, for some awesome snapshots to capture the special moments of the day, meanwhile their wedding guests were treated to an array of tasty canapes including: chicken satay pinchitos with peanut sauce, pork brochettes with a whole grain mustard & orange glaze, smoked salmon, asparagus and horseradish wraps and tiny parmesan and rosemary shortbreads with oven dried cherry tomatoes and feta.
The wedding breakfast was a feast for all the senses, held on the sweeping lawns of the property, amidst a vista of rolling Mediterranean hills, with the beautifully decorated tables adorned by majestic gardens. There the guests enjoyed an al fresco feast of goats cheese tartlet with caramelised walnuts and red onion jam and white balsamic dressing for starters followed by pan fried fillet of beef with dauphinoise potatoes, a red wine jus and mange tout as one of the main options. A delightful meal that rounded off with the all-important speeches and a heavenly trio of chocolate truffle cake, mojito fruit salad and mini crème brûlée.
As the golden summer rays began to dip, the grounds of Fort Ingles around the gorgeous turquoise pool area was transformed, with a little help from some ambient lighting and of course music, into a stylish dance floor. There, beneath the sublime velvet canopy of the stars, the guests party away until the small hours, safe in the knowledge that, thanks to the villa’s secluded location, there were no noise restrictions.
Filled with charm and tradition, every corner of this grand villa is like stepping back in time and from start to finish, Jodie and Michael’s special day was fantastic!
