Explore the combination of rural charm and modern amenities as we step into a 200-year-old majestic venue nestled within a 62,000 m² valley, a mere 10 minutes from the charming town of Mijas. This idyllic location provided the picturesque backdrop for Priya and Luke’s late summer wedding and setting for today’s bridal story.
The day of celebration kicked off with the guests arriving at the grounds of the stunning finca. There, by the grand entrance, they were warmly greeted by the best man and groomsmen and treated to refreshing drinks. Meanwhile, soft background guitar music filled the air, enhancing the serene atmosphere and guests enjoyed the breathtaking views amid the lush gardens.
While guests socialised, and before the main events began, photographer Talia seized the opportunity to capture the heartfelt first look moment between the bride, Priya, and her father.
The finca’s traditional courtyard was transformed into a captivating location for the ceremony. A beautifully adorned wedding arch was placed in front of the courtyard fountain, with guests facing the stunning mountain views.
There, the groom, Luke, and best man Jason led the procession, while groomsmen Liam and Fikret helped guests find their reserved seats.
Amid the bubbling excitement, it was time for the stunning bride to make her appearance. The bridal procession began with the flower girls, Margot and Klara, followed by five pairs of bridesmaids, and finally, Priya, who was escorted by both her parents.
Under the warm afternoon sun, the ceremony began, made even more special as it was officiated by the groom’s brother, who served as the wedding minister. Following the exchange of heartfelt vows and rings, the wedding recessional unfolded to the lively tunes of Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” as guests showered the newlyweds with biodegradable confetti.
The cocktail reception unfolded by the swimming pool and in the garden area. There, guitarist Nano created a lively atmosphere with upbeat melodies while guests enjoyed sangria, cava, beers, soft drinks, and wines. Cold and hot canapés were also served and the relaxed moment provided the perfect backdrop for Talia to capture family and couple photos, complete with smoke bombs.
Following the family photos, guests were guided to the reception area, allowing Priya a brief moment to change into her second dress. Soon after, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, reuniting with their guests as the festivities resumed.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the pool area underwent a stylish transformation into a dance floor, marking the beginning of the party which kicked-off with the couple’s first dance to “There Will Be Time” by Mumford & Sons, played by DJ Dave.
Damian on Sax and Annya on Violin then joined the DJ for an energetic two-hour session as late-night snacks in the form of Margherita pizzas were served to keep the energy high.
Under a canopy of stars, the guests danced and celebrated to their heart’s content without the constraints of noise restrictions, all thanks to the villa’s secluded location. The celebration continued until 3 am when a shuttle bus service ensured that guests safely returned to their accommodations, concluding a day and night brimming with charm, tradition, and unforgettable memories.
