Becky and Matt contacted our team of wedding planners in Spain 18 months ago where they began their journey to find their perfect wedding venue in Spain.
Becky, like all girls, had dreamt of a fairytale wedding in Spain after holidaying in southern Spain for many years. It made perfect sense that the newly engaged couple fly over to meet one of the Sunshine Weddings Spain planners to take advantage of the complimentary venue tour to find their ideal wedding venue in Spain.
The excited bridal couple flew into Malaga from Manchester after a short 2 hour flight, and drove along the coast greeted by the glistening Mediterranean sea, golden sands and absolutely stunning mountainous and rural countryside that lay ahead of them.
After having viewed a number of locations and different venue styles one clearly stood out for Becky and Matt. They could now could clearly visualise their wedding in Mijas Spain in the stunning Hacienda, a private and exclusive Spanish house, that sits in stunning grounds with views of the mountains and countryside.
After months of working with our wedding planners in Spain, and having enjoyed the whole experience of planning their wedding in Mijas Spain, Becky and Matt’s big day had arrived.
Guests were welcomed to refreshing drinks and the sounds of Quike playing relaxing chill out music on his violin. Once the blushing bride was ready, Becky floated down the isle to Procession with Elbow, “One Day Like This”, and was greeted by Matt and Padre Peter who lead this intimate wedding in Mijas Spain. Padre Peter delivered a light hearted and touching ceremony which set the magical scene for this stunning wedding in Mijas Spain.
Once their nuptials had taken place everyone was relaxed and excited, and enjoyed sipping refreshing mimosas and beer whilst they listened to an Ibiza style set from Quike.
Taking in the surroundings Becky couldn’t believe how amazing the scene looked with her vintage style theme carried throughout her table wear adding a romantic and authentic Spanish theme to her absolutely stunning wedding venue in Mijas Spain.
Guests enjoyed a delicious meal set out in the garden and where speeches took place before everyone indulged in the amazing wedding cake creation which was made of cheese; a tower of perfection for all guests to enjoy at Becky and Matt’s dream wedding in Mijas Spain.
The next day guests returned to the wedding villa venue in Mijas Spain and enjoyed a scrumptious Hog Roast that helped to soak up all the alcohol from the previous nights celebrations.
