Nestled in the heart of the Malaga countryside, a boutique hotel wedding venue in Nerja provided a dreamy backdrop for Danielle and Jaime’s special day. The venue, designed to resemble a 19th-century Andalusian finca, offers a blend of luxury and rustic charm. With 20 elegantly appointed bedrooms, a delightful wedding menu, and captivating vistas, this venue has emerged as a sought-after destination for sunlit wedding celebrations on the Costa del Sol in recent years.
Bridal Preparations and Final Touches
The wedding day began with a hum of excitement as the bride and her bridal party prepared for the ceremony. Hair and makeup artists worked their magic in the hotel bridal suite, ensuring everyone looked their best. Meanwhile, the florist adorned the venue with beautiful arrangements, setting the stage for the day’s festivities.
By early afternoon, the talented photographer, Anna Goryacheva, arrived on-site to skillfully capture the emotional first look between the bride and her father. Whilst Jaime and his groomsmen met at the hotel bar for a pre-wedding meeting, adding a touch of camaraderie to the day.
And finally it was time…
Welcome and Ceremony in a colonial-style patio
Guests were invited to the ceremony area, where the colonial-style patio, adorned with arched columns and a water feature, set a picturesque scene for the bridal entrance. Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” provided the perfect soundtrack as Danielle, accompanied by her father, walked down the outdoor aisle. The charming setting, with swaying palms and fragrant white blooms, framed the couple as they gathered beneath a small pergola to declare their ‘I dos.’ The ceremony included a candle lighting ritual and a violin version of Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be Everlasting Love.”
Surrounded by friends and family, Danielle and Jaime exchanged vows and rings, sealing their union as husband and wife, and as the ceremony came to its conclusion, the happy couple exited under a shower of rose petals and joined their guests for a celebratory glass of bubbly, kicking off the lively festivities.
Drinks Reception and Tasty Canapes
With the conclusion of the ceremony, the day transitioned into a vibrant drinks reception, and while guests enjoyed an array of drinks and canapés, the couple took a moment with their nearest and dearest to capture fun family photos that immortalised the magic of the day.
Wedding feast – Alfresco dining under a Sunset Sky
The celebration continued with Danielle and Jamie making their entrance to the wedding breakfast area to the lively beats of Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina” accompanied by napkin waving. This was followed by a spectacular Champagne tower pouring, with fireworks set off as they poured the last of the bubbly. The evening progressed with heartfelt speeches by the closest members of the wedding party.
Dinner service then commenced on the salon terrace, where guests indulged in the exquisite Andalusian cuisine crafted by the venue’s talented chefs in a beautiful setting which saw a stunning sunset that cast a breathtaking backdrop for photos, ensuring the unforgettable moment was preserved.
Party Time and Late-Night Festivities
The festivities kicked into high gear early evening as the newlyweds cut the wedding cake and the open bar swung into action. DJ Fuller added to the vibrant atmosphere by skillfully setting the tone for the night, playing a carefully curated playlist that seamlessly blended with the celebratory mood.
As the night progressed, the party moved inside for the second DJ set. Late-night snacks were served to keep energy levels high with the celebrations going on past midnight, ending a day filled with love, joy, and countless beautiful moments.
