A wedding venue with a view.
The Venue—just 15 minutes from Nerja

Overlooking the town of Nerja, considered by many to be the “jewel of the Costa del Sol”, sits this typical Spanish villa. The villa is just 15 minutes from Nerja and is the perfect space for up to 16 of your nearest and dearest to stay in on the run-up to your special day, while entertaining up to 80 guests on the day.

The location of this extremely high quality villa makes it the ideal place to be able to enjoy the buzz of the Costa del Sol, yet also serves as a haven of peace to unwind after a fun-packed day.

And at the entrance of this stylish wedding villa, the guests of the beautiful bridal couple, Isabelle and Michel, gathered and enjoyed a refreshing welcome drink, whilst listening to melodic piano pieces played by talented pianist, Diego.

The ceremony area boasts the most amazing views of the nearby Costa del Sol.

Afterwhich the wedding guests were invited to move through the scenic grounds of this Spanish villa to the ceremony area, which boasts the most amazing views of the nearby coastal resort, and the sparkling aquamarine Mediterranean sea.

There, under the hazy Spanish sunshine, the guests took their seats next to a breath-taking infinity pool, facing the shimmering sea.

Wedding ceremony decor and panoramic Mediterranean view

The wedding arbour was decorated with birds of paradise and palm leaves creating a tropical look, the bright greens and orange a striking contrast to the blue skies.

By the exotic arbour the lovely Isabelle and Michel were joined as husband and wife in a meaningful and uplifting ceremony surrounded by friends and family.

All the while, beside the ceremony area, a stunning water feature cascaded into its very own pool creating a backdrop of tranquillity.

To the classic “The Lady is a Tramp” the newlyweds took their leave from the ceremony area, amidst cheers and applause. After which all were invited to the upper terrace for a selection of drinks and typical Spanish canapes including: chorizo lollipops, Iberian pork samosas, bite-sized Spanish tortilla with tropical salsa and sweet chilli shrimp, meanwhile enjoying a second Jazz piano set by Diego.

Intimate wedding dining around the poolside

After a reception in the villa’s charming terrace, guests moved poolside for the chic and intimate wedding breakfast, there the relaxing sounds of rippling water guaranteed peaceful dining. What’s more the crisp, clean agua made a stunning portrait backdrop for The Love Hunters, the photographic team, who did a fantastic job immortalising the magic of the day.

Tasty Spanish canapes.

Overlooking the Costa del Sol as the sun starting to dip enveloping the villa in a golden hue, the guests sat down to enjoy a generous feast which started with an option of Rioja poached pear with jamon serrano, pecorino and rocket dressed with aged balsamic or shrimp pil pil – fresh Shrimp sauteéd with peppers, garlic and chillies followed by mains of chicken with chorizo and mozzarella served with olive mash and pique jus or roasted fillet of sea bass on baby potatoes and sauteed spinach, with a vegetarian option available for those who preferred. A fantastic feast that finished with a trio of chocolate brownie, sticky toffee pudding and berry tartlet and lots of fun and entertaining speeches.

Shoes off & party under the star-lit sky

The wedding dinner finished, the cake was cut and it was time to hit the dance floor and enjoy the vibes from a catchy playlist at the hands of professional DJ Pedro where everyone enjoyed over five hours of open bar with late night snacks served until 3am, sealing the most magical of days surrounded by the most romantic of backdrops.

A huge thank you to The Love Hunters for the use of these incredible images. And a huge thank you also to Isabelle and Michel for sharing their magical day with us. We wish you a long and happy marriage.
