Great (and gorgeous) outdoor spaces
Here is a wedding venue that will please not only every one of your guests, but perhaps, more importantly, it lends itself perfectly to every wedding style. Whether your heart yearns for an intimate wedding, or a big event to celebrate your love with a ceremony space capable of holding more than 500 people, you can be certain this finca-style location will deliver with a bang.

El Molino, a former oil mill, is over 150 years old and surrounded with unique and well-established vegetation, as well as breath-taking pockets of the most colourful flora, and magnificent views to the mountains beyond. All of this provides an idyllic backdrop for some absolutely wonderful photo opportunities across its large terraces and more intimate patios, focusing on stunning panoramas, or honing in on the finer details of the day. When it comes to the latter there are so many quirky nooks and crannies to drape and design the most swoon-worthy wedding decor, adding a very natural finished touch to the bounty of the gardens.

It’s a photographers’ paradise. And it’s a wedding ceremony paradise.

Food, glorious food (and drink)…
El Molino is brand new to the destination wedding market, and has recently been refurbished to the highest standards to cater for wedding ceremonies, which means its outdoor dining options are many!

How about a cocktail patio serving cool, refreshing drinks? Or a wedding breakfast beneath the natural arch of the terrace’s trees – complete with stunning floral table decorations?

For something less formal, you might prefer to dine around the pool, taking in the kaleidoscopic hues of the gardens and the gentle swaying of the palm trees, as the sun reflects invitingly off the water, willing you to take a dip.

However you choose to eat and drink, the good news is that the venue can provide a free bar in the fresh air, with no time limit on its serving hours, taking your celebrations into the wee small hours and beyond, should you wish!

On-site accommodation for guests
The mill boasts a total of 5 double rooms, all with en-suite facilities. There are also 2 living-rooms and 2 kitchens, making this the perfect accommodation for bride and groom and their immediate families, and/or best friends.

El Molino has a minimum rental requirement of 2 nights however wedding parties are very welcome to extend their bookings to turn their stay into more of a holiday; a proposition that’s difficult to resist!

Fun and relaxing facilities
With its stunningly tempting aquamarine swimming pool, terrace and barbecue area, El Molino is the perfect location for your guests to unwind and top up their tans, both in the run-up to, and after your wedding day.

Nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty
El Molino really is one of the Costa del Sol’s hidden gems, located in one of the prettiest parts of the Axarquía, in the luscious green “Parque Natural de Acantilados de Maro y Cerro Gordo“, an area between Nerja and Maro where (incidentally) the best beaches in Malaga province can also be found. Nearby you will also find the quaint and charming whitewashed village of Frigiliana – an ideal daytrip for your guests.

And all of this is situated just 45 minutes from Malaga city and the airport, an easy journey for you and your guests ‘
