  1. The 24 ziplines of Aventura Amazonia (Marbella).

If you are looking for non-stop fun and maximum safety for adults and kids alike, Aventura Amazonia— considered the largest adventure park in Andalucia and includes the longest treetop zipline in Andalucia, with a length of 240m—is the place to go.

The open air park has five courses specially adapted for both adults and children of any ability. Ideal for large wedding groups to have fun together, or even as a stag or hen party activity.

  1. ‘Supertirolina VK Twin’ in Alhaurin de la Torre (8.8 km from Malaga airport).

Recently inaugurated, this zipline spans some 1,350 metres, making it one of Spain and Europe’s longest zipping sites and permits thrillseekers to reach hair-raising speeds of up to 100 km/hour if launched from the Superman position—lying down and facing the ground, effectively cutting down on wind resistance.

Rides can also be done in a sitting position and in tandem if the idea of mimicking Superman seems a little too nerve-racking.

This attraction is part of the Sunview Park Adventure area and offers riders an unbeatable view of the Mediterranean.

What’s more, it’s well located, close to the airport and the beach. The site also features a small ‘kiosk bar’ and visitors to Sunview Adventure Park can also go out hacking on horseback.

  1. Comares zipline (50km from Malaga airport).

Harness up and try Comares’ thrilling 436-meter zipline experience, the longest in Spain in a natural area, located at the balcony of the Axarquia, in Comares, between vertical walls and hanging bridges.

Enjoy, with your family and wedding guests, this thrilling ride with amazing views and experience flying 110m above the ground from the village of Comares, flanked with simple whitewashed houses, to the hill opposite.

The quaint village, which remains typically Moorish in its layout and design, is worth a visit after too.

Throughout the village, there are colourful ceramic plaques depicting Comares´ important place in history, which can be traced back to the third century BC.

The ‘flight’ lasts an intense 30 seconds as you whizz at high speeds over the town of Casares.

The zipline is a good reason to visit Casares, along with many other great reasons such as observing its rich birdlife including; falcons, eagles and vultures, its splendid views all the way to the Atlas mountains in Africa and its very large underground cave system.

  1. Gaucin Tyrolean zipline (60.5 km from Gibraltar Airport).

Nestled in the Serranía de Ronda, specifically in the town of Gaucin, this stunning zipline, at 300m in length is not for the fainthearted as it requires some skill and is physically demanding to access, but once you do, it’s perfect for nature lovers and daredevils alike.

  1. Juzcar zipline (102 km from Malaga airport).

Juzcar, is actually a fun, family-friendly village to visit for it’s ‘Smurf’ history, more than for it’s zipline attraction. In fact, the town better known as the ‘Blue village’ or ‘Smurf village’ is the first and only official Smurfs village in the world after Sony Pictures selected it to celebrate the premiere of the Smurfs movie in 2011.

Sony Pictures painted the entire town of Juzcar blue for ceremonies and photo shots. Sony then offered to repaint the town white, but as tourist numbers had boomed, residents of the town voted to leave the buildings painted blue.

In 2017, the mountain village of 200 residents was forced to rebrand as the ‘Blue Village’ and introduced ziplines and hiking routes in an attempt to keep tourism numbers up.

It currently has two ziplines of 200m and 110m respectively which cross the charming urban center of the village giving the best views of the blue-painted houses that decorate the village.
