Looking for a stunning Spanish wedding venue in the heart of the Costa del Sol? Then be sure to read today’s bridal story which will walk you through what your wedding could be like if you opt to say “I do” in the magical and glizzy area of Marbella.
So whether you’re looking for a wedding villa, a rustic wedding or a sandy beach wedding, there are no limits when it comes to finding extraordinary and top Spanish wedding venues in southern Spain, but if your first thoughts are of blue skies and sparkling sea, then Marbella makes the perfect location for those looking for a relaxed, fun, beach wedding.
On this particular occasion, the elegant bridal couple Jordanna and Stefan opted to take a frontline beach villa. This particular villa, like many in the area, has stunning sea views and a beautiful, tropical garden offering a perfectly tranquil environment for the bridal couple and their nearest and dearest on the run up to their big day.
An elegant flower arrangement on pillar columns had been set up as the wedding arbor. Its arch-shaped structure draped in pale pink fabric and white and pink roses, coupled with the immaculate design of the garden itself, created an atmosphere of sheer opulence.
Once the vows were said and the rings exchanged, Jordanna and Stefan, now as husband and wife, walked back down the aisle as their guests threw rose petals over them in celebration before everyone joined together at the front of the house for the drinks reception.
Strategically positioned next to a delux lounge-bar area the bridal party were able to kick back and relax whilst soaking up the late summer rays together with the calming sound of lapping waves in the distance.
After 90 minutes of drinks reception and an array of cold and hot canapes, the guests were called to be seated for the wedding breakfast which was held next to the outdoor seasonal swimming pool, a space of flawless aquamarine with spectacular lights adding a touch of magic to the already romantic set-up.
The huge exotic trees lining the perimeter provided a real sense of luxury and privacy for all as dinner was served, an exquisite meal which then led perfectly to the first dance and a four hour set by DJ Kmiss with open bar.
Churros and chocolate flowed throughout the evening as did an array of late night snacks to keep everyone going until late into the night, with accomplished saxophonist Ben performing throughout the evening too.
The celebrations finished the following day with a pool party at the villa, where the delicate perfume of the garden’s flowers mixed with the joy and excitement that only a wedding can bring.
