With less than three weeks to go for the wedding season to kick off, we are delighted to share with you a milestone event, two decades of wedding planning in Spain.
For twenty years Scott Gibbons, founder of Sunshine Weddings Spain, has specialised in making dream wedding days come true. What started with a phone call from Scott’s sister, Lisa, asking him for guidance with her destination wedding (just minutes after she was proposed to) in a country she had always loved visiting with her family, has since taken Scott and Sunshine Weddings Spain on an incredible adventure.
In 2002, after organising his sister’s wedding, Scott was asked to organise the wedding of a great friend, also in Spain. From these two weddings, the phone began to ring with more bridal couples looking for wedding planning assistance and the journey began. For the first seven or eight years, under the banner of Sunshine Events, Scott assisted on average eight to ten weddings a year under the Spanish sunshine.
Over the years Scott acquired comprehensive knowledge and experience in wedding planning for a global bridal audience wanting to enjoy a Spanish flavour and in 2010 Sunshine Weddings Spain was born.
