Church wedding venue in Spain…
Lauren and David booked their trip to find for their dream wedding venue in Spain during the summer of 2012. They flew into Malaga airport and decided to stay close to the old town of Benalmadena Pueblo and after having spent only 24 hours in the area they decided it would be the perfect location to get married in Spain.
As soon as Lauren stood outside the church & looked out onto the rolling hills, which lead the way down to the Mediterranean Sea, she knew she wanted to have her wedding ceremony in this quaint and traditionally Spanish location.
The next step was to find their perfect wedding venue; Lauren’s dream had always been to have a beach wedding venue in Spain, a place where guests could celebrate with her after her traditional Catholic service. Scott took them to a lovely beach wedding venue in Mijas a mere 15 minutes from the church.
Her dream was coming true two perfect wedding venues in Spain had been found one for her ceremony the other for her reception and party – it wouldn’t be long till she was actually getting married in Spain.
The day arrived and her guests were collected from the wedding venue and dropped off by coaches to the church to enjoy the amazing views whilst they waited for Lauren to arrive. As she approached the guests entered the church where a soprano sang to Lauren and the procession.
After the ceremony, and to add to the Spanish theme, guests took a lovely short walk through the winding streets to the center of the town where they were seated in a shaded area enjoying sangria and beers whist an amazing choice of tapas were served. There was a fantastic atmosphere with the ambiance added to by a live Spanish guitarist making Lauren & David’s wedding in Spain one which would always be remembered.
Lauren was excited to get to her beach wedding venue in Mijas so after an hour or so the wedding party left the square in Benalmadena and took coaches to the surprise venue where they were truly wowed. Sipping champagne and being drawn in to the beach sea setting guests chatted excitedly about the day they were experiencing.
Dinner was served on an exclusive terrace over looking the Mediterranean Sea and enjoyed listening to live music and singing as the sun slowly dipped down over the seashore line.
After the speeches and wedding cake had been served the excited crowd took to the dance floor and used up the rest of their energy until the DJ played the last song long after midnight.
For Lauren & David their dreams of getting married in Spain had come true!!
