As the wedding season is almost over and the dark nights in the UK start to descend upon us, I always like to look back at our weddings that have taken place in Spain throughout the year.
When I first spoke to Dani who runs her own busy growing business; UK Fashion Blog Arella Jewels, back in 2012 about her wedding in Mallorca, I knew her day would be ultra special; she would be marrying her soul mate Neil. They both had spent many times apart due to her work commitments having to live in different areas of the country, but fate had kept them together and now they would finally be getting married in Mallorca; the perfect wedding destination that would provide them with sun sea and lots of sangria surrounded by their closest friends and family.
After searching the internet and flying out to meet Tor, one of the Sunshine Weddings Spain team based in Mallorca, Dani finally found her dream wedding venue set in a luxury 5* hotel surrounded by stunning gardens over looking the Mediterranean sea.
Once they had found their venue the planning could now begin. Dani wanted to have lots of involvement in planning her big day and as we like to be as flexible as possible offering clients a bespoke service being as involved or as little as they like, Dani was able to have the support from the team in areas she needed assistance with whilst being able to suggest her own ideas, and put her very own stamp on her wedding in Mallorca.
And so on May 9th 2014 Dani and Neil’s wedding in Mallorca had finally arrived Everyone was so excited but also extremely emotional. Neil and Dani presented immediate family members, bridesmaids and groomsmen with gifts before the ceremony and finally to each other, which only made their wedding even more special cementing their love for each other and thanking all those nearest and dearest to them.
The Ceremony layout was stunning; Dani had chosen gypsophila and peonies as a sentiment to her Grandma adding another personal touch to her day. Her colours worked beautifully with the contrast of white against pastel shades of pink mixed with the grey of the groomsmen suits, and mixed amongst the lush green of the gardens set against the backdrop of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.
The ceremony took place, and their guests looked on at the bridal couple getting married in Mallorca with emotions of tears and joy. Finally they said ” I do” and Neil was told to kiss his bride who was beaming from ear to ear.
The couple had chosen a champagne reception, which they enjoyed whilst mingling with their guests who were entertained by a magician to add to the fun of their day. The wedding party then sat down on the terrace, under large umbrellas, to feast on a 5*, yet informal buffet as the sun slowly went down.
For the bridal couples entertainment they hired a fire dancer, a great surprise for all their guess who themselves danced the night away to a DJ playing until the early hours.
A huge congratulations to Dani & Neil, may every day bring back memories of your wedding in Mallorca!!
