Let your imagination run wild for a while with images of a traditional Spanish stone finca, surrounded by towering palms and farmland, an ideal rural setting for anyone dreaming of hosting a bohemian-style wedding filled with all the wonder that nature has to offer.

Fabulous Wedding Finca Mallorca.
Fabulous Wedding Finca Mallorca.

Today’s bridal story is filled with breathtaking wedding moments at one of Mallorca’s most awe-inspiring rustic wedding venues. Popular for its accessibility to Palma airport, its large manicured lawn and its fairy-tale-like location.

Join us in visualising how a wedding at this fabulous wedding finca can unfold as we relive Anna and Daniel’s magical day, held at this rustic wedding finca on the first Sunday of July earlier this year…

On the arm of her father the radiant bride approaches the outdoor wedding arbour.
Welcome—arrive in splendour flanked by towering palm trees and farmland.

A day filled with sunshine and laughter saw the hundred plus wedding guests arrive at this luxurious finca, nestled deep in the countryside, yet only a ten minute drive from the island’s capital city of Palma, to the sound of the talented guitarist Gaizka softly strumming ambient guitar music of his very own composition.

With the sonoric sound of music in the background, the guests gathered in the large Courtyard, aptly named “The Palmeras Courtyard” for the swaying palm trees that flank the rustic outdoor space. A place where guests enjoyed a welcome drink from an original self-service lemonade stand which offered a choice of three refreshing flavours: Original, mint and watermelon

The Ceremony—large manicured lawn overlooking the scenic backcountry with acres of rolling hills.

From there the wedding guests were ushered to be seated in the ceremony area which had been set up in the lower lawn of this traditional Spanish estate. With Gaizka once again on guitar playing a romantic guitar set, the guests were able to drink in the scenic rural vistas of grassland and sweeping pastures whilst expectantly waiting for the bride to make her grand entrance.

On the arm of her father, the radiant bride approached the outdoor wedding arbour, where the debanour groom in a one button slim fit white tuxedo jacket with black trousers waited.

There Toni Pons, the wedding celebrant on this joyous occasion, led an uplifting wedding service on the grounds of this Mallorcan estate which dates back to the 12th century.

The emotive vows were said, the rings exchanged and the marriage contract signed, wonderfully captured by the talented Roger Castellvi, who did an outstanding job snapping all the magical moments of the day.

Now as husband and wife, Anna and Daniel walked back up the aisle with Gaizka once again on guitar, where they joined their guests on the Palmeras courtyard and in the shade of the finca’s ancient stone walls everyone enjoyed a selection of wines and refreshments as well as an array of delectable hot and cold canapes.

The wedding breakfast—in the estate’s ample gardens.

Following on from that, the guests were invited to move to the estate’s luscious lawn for the main course. There the wedding guests were offered a fantastic feast provided by Fosh Catering including a choice of: Galician beef fillet with a caramelised onion coca and black olives or tumbet of garden vegetables, grilled asparagus and romesco sauce and a heavenly mango and passion fruit cheesecake with strawberry sorbet for dessert.

In this dreamy garden space, where fairy lights cascaded overhead adding a romantic vibe as dusk settled, unique and funny wedding speeches were said.

The Party—great vibes using both outdoor and indoor spaces.

Following on from the all-important speeches, bride, groom and guests made their way to the dance floor where a live music band were playing and the first dance to Al Green’s “Let’s stay together.” kicked off a night of dancing.

At midnight the guests moved indoors to continue partying the night away to a catchy DJ playlist. Two more hours of open bar, late night snacks and a fun photobooth that had been set up, saw everyone through to 2am.

At the end of the evening all the guests were then taken, by coach, back to their respective hotels, safely finalising the most perfect of days.

A huge thank you to Roger Castellvi for the use of these incredible images. And a huge thank you to Anna and Daniel for trusting and sharing your magical day with us. Wishing you well as you embark on this next chapter of life.
