Indian Wedding Marbella | Luxury Finca Venue

Back

Bhav and Jai’s Luxury Nuptials – Indian Wedding Part 1.

Welcome to the exquisite and exclusive Finca; destination wedding venue number one for Bhav and Jai’s amazing Indian wedding on the Costa del Sol, southern Spain.

It was such a pleasure for the Sunshine Weddings team to help coordinate the intricate details of this special couple’s equally special celebration last summer, and we are delighted to give you a sneak peek of both of the fantastic Marbella venues where their big days were held, in our two part feature.

First off… the Finca:

A secluded oasis of lush green tranquility boasting spectacular panoramic views of the sparkling Mediterranean sea; the Finca’s allure is immediate and undeniable. What better setting for such an epic start to our bridal couples’ wedding celebrations?

The grounds of the property lend themselves perfectly to every kind of wedding styling imaginable, and for Bhav and Jai’s ceremony, as you can see in these stunning images, the effect was simply breathtaking. The Finca’s exterior was transformed into colour pops of red, gold and white; the aisle strewn with beautiful petals.

In fact, the gardens are so extensive that the Finca is the perfect location for even the largest of weddings, with capacity for up to 450 guests. Fetching Mediterranean-style patios, trees, flowers and fountains – not to mention the wonderfully therapeutic sound of trickling water – complete the effect for the most idyllic way to create memories; for family and friends to join together to celebrate love.

The Finca is a relatively new and creative place and space on the Marbella wedding scene, and the owners are rightfully proud of the visions they have manifested. Every detail and every experience here is unique, enhanced by the incredible natural light. The venue can be used for a civil ceremony or a blessing, with a religious ceremony held elsewhere, but nearby on the Costa, since it’s central to so many places.

And, of course, such a convenient location means there are a plethora of perfect accommodation possibilities on the doorstep, and slightly further afield, according to budgets and interests. From luxurious Marbella to neighbouring and authentic Estepona on one side, and cultural Malaga city on the other, there is something to suit every guest.

Bhav and Jai’s traditional ceremony costumes were admired by all of their guests, said light only adding to the absolute wow factor.

Thoughtfully, the couple had fans placed on every seat for all of their friends and family watching the ceremony in the Spanish sun. Another lovely touch was the Dhol players and their festive, authentic Indian music, creating an unforgettable backdrop.

After the ceremony, Rebecca Davidson took some spectacular photographs of the couple, whilst their guests enjoyed the Finca’s beautiful and natural surroundings. And then it was time for the delectable wedding feast…

The Finca has its own kitchen, which is a huge advantage, and Bhav and Jai’s, their nearest and dearest were treated to a mouthwatering array of taste sensations:

Feta cheese salad, sea bass ceviche, mozzarella and tomato, lamb pittas, onion bhaji, chicken kebabs and vegetable paella made up the delicious savoury selection.

Making room for the dessert selections of brownies with white chocolate sauce, coconut sponge, carrot sponge, mini traditional San Marcos cakes topped with orange, chocolate eclairs and fresh fruit salad… was a tough job, but the bride, groom and their guests were more than happy to do it, whilst the Cava, red and white wine flowed!

As the sun set on a magical day, there was no better spot for the wedding party to dance the night away under the canopy of stars before the next day’s celebrations, with the chance to do it all over again!

Do not miss next week and part 2…

Our heartfelt thanks to Bhav and Jai, as well as Rebecca Davidson for the use of these fantastic photographs.
