On a glorious summer’s afternoon, in one of the most wow factor locations on the Costa del Sol, today’s featured bridal couple, Rassin and Elnaz, said ‘I do’ in front of their family and friends.
We were thrilled to be approached by the couple to organise their nuptials in southern Spain. The Sunshine Weddings team have polished and perfected the weaving together of every aspect of the ceremony and celebration of newlyweds in destination wedding venues such as the stunning Finca, a hidden gem of a property located in the cosmopolitan Marbella area, and it is a joy every single time. Every wedding is so beautifully unique. We love what we do.
The Finca is a marvel. Set back a little from the town, situated in-between the rugged charm of the Sierra Blanca mountains and the azure blue of the Mediterranean sea, here you can enjoy the best of two majestically contrasting landscapes, making for some wonderful memories – and photographs. A tranquil and private hub. A piece of paradise.
The bride looked simply AMAZING in her gorgeous gown – add to that a most dapper groom, the glorious natural backdrop of the Finca’s gardens, and some truly beautiful wedding styling, and you have a tableau straight out of a bridal magazine. One of the loveliest aspects of this property is the wonderful pathway and the tiered lush green planting that allows guests to very organically arrange themselves either side of the ‘aisle’ at the ceremony’s finale. In addition to this, the lawns of the property are flanked with exotic vegetation, brilliant hues of flora, and therapeutic cascades of water trickling from a stream.
Rassin and Elraz’s wedding ceremony took place late afternoon-early evening. This is a popular choice for many of our couples getting married in peak summer season when the temperatures can be very warm during the middle of the day. It also allows couples and their guests a little relaxation time in the morning – a quick dip in the pool or the sea! A beautiful Sofreh Aghd prayer was included in the couples’ Persian ceremony, which consisted of ninety-eight guests.
The wedding feast was a sumptuous menu of canapes (enjoyed whilst the couple spent time with their photographer in the spectacular grounds of the Finca to capture some magnificent shots), followed by a wedding ‘breakfast’ of marinated smoked salmon, Sirloin steak and passion fruit pudding. All of which went down a treat with everybody. And last, but by no means least, there was a fantastic, floral-themed and triple-tiered wedding cake.
Whilst this property doesn’t come with on-site accommodation, that’s no problem at all with nearby Marbella offering myriad options for all pockets – from quaint and charming B&Bs through to lavish and glamorous hotels… not to mention some of the coasts most incredible dining and shopping experiences. And yet cultural and more traditional sightseeing opportunities abound too in nearby Malaga, Estepona and Ronda. The venue’s coordinates are also highly convenient for those arriving by plane, located halfway between Malaga and Gibraltar airport.
Three thousand fairy lights decorated the grounds of the Finca at dusk in an ethereal display that took the breath away, further illuminating the careful placement of the stunning floral decorations, and surely the only way to end such a magical day… But not without an epic amount of dancing and entertainment beneath the equally breath-taking canopy of the Andalusian stars.
A huge thank you to Balance Photography for the use of these incredible images. And a huge thank you to the bride and groom, who we raise our glasses to in a toast for a long and happy marriage.
