Luxury Marbella Villa Wedding

Back

Ingrid and Neil’s Magical Marriage

Marbella is home to an array of outstanding destination wedding venues, but today’s featured wedding villa is up there in a luxurious league of its own! Sunshine Weddings were thrilled when Ingrid and Neil fell head over heels in love with the Villa and decided to hold their wedding celebrations there…

“The wedding proposal was a massive surprise, we were in New York in Central Park and I had mentioned about going to find the Bow Bridge and Neil asked me to marry him on there… 30th November 2017. We love Spain and especially the Costa del Sol; my brother lives down the coast so we visit often and we were guaranteed the weather which is why we chose to get married there.”
“We did originally go over to Palma, Majorca to have a look (and also visit friends) but, as beautiful as the island was, it wasn’t what we were looking for. We had a look online and saw this Villa and contacted Sunshine Weddings for a quote (keeping everything crossed that we could afford it!). We knew it was the place we wanted straight away as we had been to a friend’s wedding in Sitges and it was a similar thing.”

“Everything was so easy with Sunshine Weddings, from our first contact with Susie and Scott, to the million emails with Pam who supported me through the whole of the arrangements, and Lou who was there on the day to co-ordinate from start to finish with so much professionalism and expertise.”

The ten-bedroom Villa sits in an enviable front-line beach location which creates the most atmospheric and fairy-tale backdrop for any wedding in the sun. The Villa is also just a stone’s throw from the Old Town and shopping delights of Marbella; an added bonus for larger bridal parties since the resort has myriad options for first-class accommodation.

One of the most wonderful features of this opulent villa is the graceful way it reveals itself – piece by piece. On arrival, guests are awestruck by its sheer grandeur and style, and will usually gather inside the venue at this point, enjoying welcome drinks and music blissfully unaware of the further colour pop of beauty that is about to unfold in the lush green and manicured gardens outside. The pool and the panoramic Mediterranean sea views are simply breathtaking – even to the most seasoned traveler! Add to all of this the ethereal beauty of the bride and you have a tableau of joy that will forever be imprinted in the mind.

“The guests were all full of WOWS… every single one said the same.”
“We didn’t really choose one decorative theme as the villa is as glam as we could have imagined. the venue itself made the decoration easy. We had the fantastic catering… the guests said how amazing it was: tapas, paella and a dessert station. The cake was delicious too… although, we didn’t try it until the next day as we were stuffed from the wedding food!”

“We had Demian, the sax player to entertain during the welcome drinks, my entrance and the canaps and cava after the ceremony, then we had the uber glam DJ Michelle for the evening music.

“It is hard to say which one part of the wedding was most memorable, as the whole day was exceptional and everything ran as smoothly as you could wish for. We just loved seeing how happy all of our guests were being there with us.”
“We had a 2 day ‘mini moon’ in Malaga after the wedding and we are planning to go to the Maldives next year as work commitments are in the way until then. We can’t wait!”
