Luxury Villa Malaga | Ronda Destination Wedding Venue

Back

Get Married in Paradise…

Today’s feature is an absolute joy to share with readers of our Sunshine Weddings Spain blog. This exquisite and picturesque villa on the outskirts of Marbella – just a short drive inland, and situated next to the charming village of Ronda – will take your breath away. It truly is the ultimate destination wedding venue, and absolutely dazzles all who visit.

Ronda wedding villa

Whilst it’s certainly one of the most beautiful properties we have showcased, the six-bedroomed villa (plus guest house) is more than just a pretty facade. In fact it offers a long list of wow factor extras that really set it apart, giving it the air of a private resort where time stands still:

Think private aqua-blue infinity pool with built-in hot tub, complete with relaxing water features… the property even boasts its own sauna and hammam! What could be more perfect in the days leading up to, and after, your special day?

The exquisite pool

Should your wedding party include children, there is also a designated playground to keep them entertained, as well as a stable and horses. And for the health conscious, the villa even has its very own gym, not to mention 300 hectares of lush, green grounds to explore by foot – or borrow a bike.

As night falls, you and your guests can enjoy a barbecue, courtesy of the wood-fired oven, taking in the charming views spilling out beyond the property. Or how about a home theatre experience (yes, the villa has one of those too!), complete with a glass of wine from the property’s exclusive wine cellar? Prefer a long drink? No problem; the cocktail bar has it covered.

Horse

Taking all of these marvellous features into consideration, it’s hardly surprising that bridal couples who choose to tie the knot in this magnificent place, are able to turn a wedding into a mini-break or a week-long holiday of sheer celebration. Imagine the happy and magical days that can be spent with friends and family in this villa!

The interior of the villa is equally impressive. Every design feature has been carefully considered to produce a creative fusion of traditional and exotic, stylish and comfortable. The bedrooms are individual masterpieces with king size beds. And the opulent bridal suite has a separate louge, plus direct sauna access.

Infinity pool with built-in hot tub

When it comes to the wedding ceremony, the vast lime-green lawns make for a fairy-tale wedding scene, with the rolling hills staging photographic opportunities to stunning effect in the unique Andalusian light. The wedding feast then comes into its own, with sophisticated decor and table settings fringing the side of the tempting pool, whilst the courtyard and its shady nooks and crannies, are the ultimate spot for delicious canapes and mimosas post ceremony.

The sauna

Fast forward to the wedding entertainment, not only does the night sky (and lack of light pollution) create a dream-like scene, but the grounds can also be transformed with fabulous fairy lights; further brought to life with the goosebump-inducing sounds of a soulful Spanish guitar, a local band, a disco… or all three. The solitude of this property means guests can party away until the early hours, with no worries about noise restrictions.

The stylish interior

All of these luxuries aside, the simple pleasures of this landscape – the amazing cornflower-blue skies, and the panoramic views – only add to the villa’s pull. Whether you choose to spend your days in this haven, kicking off your honeymoon in style, or to get out and about, exploring the white-washed local villages (a trip to Ronda’s architectural wonder of a bridge is a must!), this unique piece of Andalusia will capture your heart and your soul.

Outdoor eating

Nestled into the glorious Spanish countryside, this very special property is still easily accesible from Gibraltar and Malaga airports. Nearby Ronda also has its own train station which connects with major southern Spanish cities, too.

The villa by night

We would like to extend a BIG thank you to the villa’s owners for the wonderful images published in this feature, and we look forward to working with them in the months and years ahead…
