Marbella Wedding Venue:A Hidden Gem in the Beautiful Old Town…

Whether you are seeking an idyllic and intimate destination wedding venue for a small group, or a stunning location to share your special day with a larger number of family and friends, today’s featured restaurant in Marbella‘s infamous Old Town, is guaranteed to delight and enchant every guest.

Sunshine Weddings Spain has many years’ experience when it comes to organising stylish, luxurious, tailor-made, and memorable weddings in and around Marbella, and we love the attention to detail and scope for variety that this particular eatery and boutique accommodation offers our bridal couples. Specifically, that a couple may choose to hold their wedding ceremony in the nearby church of Santo Cristo, for example, walking procession-style, on to the wedding venue for aperitifs and canapes, followed by the delicious wedding feast. This makes for not only a unique experience but some charming wedding photography in Marbella’s historic centre en-route. The venue works equally well for civil ceremonies that are held elsewhere along the Costa – not necessarily on the same day either. It’s such a wonderful space that was just made for get-togethers; a space that’s so unique for so many reasons.

One of the most standout things about this wedding venue has to be its passion for championing and sourcing the highest quality local, and organic food. Indeed the restaurant is something of a buzz word among local inhabitants for its true devotion to this cause. The owners have more than fifteen years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having worked everywhere from Copenhagen to Dubai, and they have woven all of their knowledge into their repertoire, making for an award-winning menu and accompanying wine bar. Whether a bridal couple opts for a wedding meal involving many decadent courses, or a mouthwatering array of tapas, they can rest assured it will be exquisite and full of wow factor.

Within the venue itself, there are cosy and intimate areas allowing guests to feel truly at home – even among the wedding party of the largest of celebrations (the restaurant can cater for up to 350 people!). In fact, the venue boasts some serious versatility, in that couples can decide to hold their reception either inside the restaurant itself, outside on the open terrace, or on the secret garden patio, depending on the size of their guest list, and the planned visuals of their day. The layout of this place makes it so refreshing, and this in turn means every couple can put their own stamp on the place.

The venue also offers a small selection of bridal party accommodation via its ‘Chapel’ – an eloquent apartment, and ‘Chimney’ lodge. Both are tastefully and lovingly furnished, yet in keeping with the quaint tradition of their surroundings in the Old Town of Marbella. Both make perfect pre or post wedding boutique accommodation options. Yet the beauty and convenience of their location also means that extended family members and friends can stay in hotels or B&Bs nearby so that everybody can easily meet up.

The restaurant is used to hosting all kinds of events all year round – from large corporate gatherings to flamenco shows – meaning they take every aspect of a couple’s wedding in their professional stride, no requests or finishing touches too large or too small.

Many couples further enhance this fabulous experience by hiring a wedding singer, musician, or both. The restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for those very special acoustics, after all!

And the venue couldn’t be simpler to get to. Marbella’s Old Town is just off the main A7 coastal road and the AP7 motorway, both of which link to Malaga and Gibraltar airports.
